Could this place get any boring?[Luke&Rebekah]

I sigh. I was stupid. This wasn't the way it was supposed to happen. My first immortal girlfriend, Kendall. I loved her. This stupid curse on me made me hallucinate that she was dead. Only I didn't realize I was hallucinating, so I moved on and I fell for Erin. I'm an idiot. I fell in love with a human. It doesn't work. Humans and immortals don't work. I sigh. Now I find out Kendall's alive. This is so convoluted.

"I have to admit, the way you jump conversation keeps me intrigued." I told him leaning my elbows on the table. "And you obiviously make stupid mistakes when it comes to loving someone."

I smirk. Glad I can interest you. You're right, I do make stupid mistakes. I tried to love again after I thought Kendall died and I fell in love with a human. Shit happens. We've both made mistakes in the romance department, but hell we've figured it out, and I'll figure this out eventually. So Rebekah, enough about me and my crappy decision making skills, what about you? I pick up my glass and take a sip.

I smirked. "I've made enough stupid decisions to last more then anyone's lifetime." I told him. "I've made mistakes when it comes to love." I said thinking of Alexander, Stefan, Damon, and even Matt. I never fell in love with Damon and Matt but I did begin to feel something for them, especially Matt, but looked what happened.

I shake my head.Personally all this drama over one little human seems foolish. Elena doesn't seem amazing. Honestly she's pretty average. I smirk and take a sip of my drink.

"Theres nothing average about her, shes just a life ruiner." I told him. I hated Elena. She ripped my family apart without batting an eyelash. I did at one point would have wanted to be friends with her but when she stabbed me in the back, literally and figuratively, I hated her.

I take a sip of my drink. Clearly you have strong feelings about her. I honestly don't know a whole lot about Rebekah and Elena's relationship, although I'm guessing they probably hate each other.

"There is nothing in this world that can describe how much I hate Elena Gilbert." I told him matter of factly. Not really many people knew how much I hated her but the more the merrier.

I nod. I'm sure she deserves it. She's being more forthcoming with me now. We're actually having a normal conversation now. I haven't the slightest idea what Elena has done to Rebekah, but considering that Bekah is pretty level-headed, Elena must've really done something awful. I know most people think Rebekah's an emotional bitch, but in reality, everything that she does is honestly with just cause, at least I think so anyway. I take a sip of my drink.

I rolled my eyes. "Believe me she deserves a lot more than that. I can't stand that wretched girl." I said. I didn't want to talk about Elena though, she has enough attention. "Lets pick a different topic please." I can't believe I'm actually talking to this guy.

I take a sip of my drink. Alright. Where did you grow up? I figure no one ever talks to Rebekah about anything other than her brothers. I figure it would be nice for someone to actually care about her real past.

I smirked. "Here actually." I said and sipped my drink. That would throw him off just a bit. I do have to admit though, Luke is interesting to talk to.

I raise my eyebrows. Surprising, considering the exotic, British accent. I smirk. She's full of surprises.

"Well my family is originally from Europe but we came here to escape disease." I told him. How could I be so honest with this guy? I was rarely this talkative with a stranger but it was like I said, Luke kept me intrigued.

I nod. That makes sense. I decide not to say anything else in response. I haven't given her much room to ask me any question, I figure I can give her a chance to get to know me.

"So, whats a fellow like yourself doing in Mystic Falls? I understand your a Hybrid but most unsired ones run for the hills." I said. I didn't see what was so appealing to him either about this small town, especially with Military training, he could be anywhere.

I sigh. The people here. Honestly, I came here originally to kill your brother. Obviously that was a failed attempt. You see, your brother killed my parents, and Klaus was going to go after my brothers, so I led him away and I joined the marines. He didn't follow me quite that far. Once I got out of the military I came here to confront Klaus once and for all. Obviously you know how that went. Now, all that's really keeping my here are the people. I don't believe in leaving family behind, no matter how truly awful and hated they may be. I take a sip of my drink, knowing Rebekah can understand that.

"I still don't think that is a good enough reason to stay." I told him. I see that he was staying here for family but right now mine was in ruins. They were either dead or just not here. "If I could leave I would."

I sigh. I'd rather stay with my screwed-up, separated family than leave and be alone for eternity. My brothers are hateful, vengeful, cruel people, but we're family. Family's family. At least it's semi-permanent. I stay silent for a minute before asking a question. You don't have to answer, but why can't you leave? I don't really know why Rebekah stays here. It might be for the same reasons that I have; not wanting to leave the only people that truly care about you.

Why can't I leave? I have many reasons like I have never lived on my own, I have never been seperated from my brothers, part of me is afraid to leave Klaus behind,I love my family to much to leave, but what it is I tell him? "Because I have the unfortuante chance of being tied up in my brother's messes." I told him. I did want to leave but I couldn't because I didn't know how to survive without my family. I never had too but Luke did not need to any of that, even if he was trying this friends thing.

I nod. Same boat. Casper seems to have made an enemy of most of the town. I'm trying to clean up his mess. I shake my headJust one big dysfunctional family. I take another sip of my drink .

"I'm guessing Casper is your brother." I said and took a small sip of my drink. Maybe Luke did understand where I was coming from but it was hard to trust someone you just met right away and plus the fact hes one of my brothers unsireed Hyrbids.

I smirk. Half-brother, but he might as well be adopted. I take a drink. We're polar opposites. He's the spitting image of our father; arrogant, lazy, stubborn, hateful, vengeful. I chuckle. Don't get me wrong, I can be hateful and vengeful too, but it consumes Casper's entire being. It's a small part of me. Everyone has their demons, right?

"He seems charming." I smirked. Vengeful and hateful? Maybe thats a kind of guy I could work with against Klaus or anyone who dares to threaten me. "No offense Luke but you don't seem the vengeful type." I said.

I grin. None taken. Like I said, no one knows me. They think I'm some boyscout. I smirk. They've only seen part of me. They've never seen the me that likes to- I search for the right word. loosen up. I assure you, Ms. Mikaelson, my interests are hardly wholly innocent.
