A calm quiet day

I smirked. "I take it that Rebekah's been shooting off her mouth again." I deadpanned. Damn I couldn't tell her anything. "I wouldn't call it an affair." I said rolling my eyes to myself. I took another sip of my drink. "I'm not in a relationship with either of the Salvatore's, i'm just toying with them for a bit. While I figure out what to do with Damon. I can't figure out if I want to cut out his tongue or his heart." I said bitterly with a sadistic under tone lacing my words.

"Well I guess that means I should keep my two cents out of it. Damon must have really done something horrible." I said. It didn't surprise me that Damon would do something like this to a good woman, I just hope he doesn't do it to Elena. A thought crossed my mind but I didn't want to push myself into her romantic life, I wasn't like Rebekah where I got into almost everyone's buiness.

I chuckled at Elijah. "Come now Elijah you know I love it when you throw your two cents into the mix." I smiled at him. "It wasn't that horrible, but what do you think he did?" I asked curiously.

"What any man like Damon would do, break your heart." I told her. Ravyn was a strong willed woman so it did upset me to think of Damon hurting her. She was someone I considered a close friend and sister so I guess I was protective. I looked down at my glass. "I don't want to pry, but I hear your involved with one of Klaus's Hybrids." I said. Hope she sees I'm just trying to be friend to her and not nosy like Klaus and Rebekah would be.

"That happened 50 years ago, so it's a little too late for that." I said indifferently. "I want to cause him bodily harm because he has a tendency for calling me clingy." I growled out a little. If anyone was clingy it was the devil himself. Of course I was referring to Damon. My whole demeanor changed when he brought up Tyler. "What exactly do you mean by involved?" I said raising an eyebrow. "And I don't care if you pry, it's Rebekah that gets too noisy." I rolled my eyes as my phone went off signaling I had a new text message. I ignored it know that it would be Bekah. "Anyway what ever. Tyler interests me, he managed to get under my skin." I said smirking. "Besides he's fun to hang out with, and it's just nice to talk to someone else." I gestured around the house.

"I can understand that, its just I also heard he has a relationship with Elena's friend Caroline. I just want to make sure you know whatyour doing Ravyn." I said lifting the glass to my lips. "As for Damon, maybe just torture him now. He is very impulsive but I need him to protect Elena." I told her. Damon never thinks before he does but he protects Elena with everything.

I looked at Elijah, he always seemed to act like my caring older brother. "Him and Caroline are over." I said taking a sip of my drink. "Do I ever know what i'm really getting myself into?" I asked with a chuckle. I just shrugged at the comment about torturing Damon. I didn't tell Kol, Elijah, or Klaus about Bekah's stunt or that James was turned by me.

I shrugged. "Probably not but just be careful." I told her. I didn't want to see Ravyn get hurt especially by one of Niklaus's Hybrids.

I chuckled at him. "Over protective much?" I smiled at him and took a sip. "Don't worry Elijah I promise I'll be careful."

I smiled at Ravyn's comment. "Its not being overprotective its being a good friend." I told her. I took another sip. "And I know you'll be careful, I mean just be careful about you who you kill." I chuckled.

I walked over to one of the book shelves and started scanning them. I was looking for something interesting to read. "Trust me Elijah, you don't have to worry about me killing anyone in this town. Unless it's absolutely necessary, you should be talking to your sister about who she kills." I said bitterly. Thanks to Bekah, I've hardly talked to Bonnie. I only said that comment because I knew Bekah left the house a few minutes ago.

"Has she made any kills?" I asked. Rebekah was pretty impulsive so I wouldn't be too surprised but I'd be upset. The way she handles her boredom is very upsetting.

"Lets see she kidnapped Bonnie. Snapped Katerina's neck thinking it was Elena. Tortured Damon and made me stake him. She put a stake in Bonnie's boyfriends chest. She staked me in the heart. Oh and because she staked James I had to turn him. I think that's it." I said in an aggressive tone. I probably shouldn't have mentioned it but who gives a damn.

I dropped my head ans shook it. Great now we have a human whos been turned and an angry Bennett witch and Katerina. Why must my siblings be so impulsive? Finn with his death wish, Niklaus making his army, Rebekah and her revenge and Kol with his pleasure just to do it. I finished off my glass. "Sometimes I just don't understand her." I told Ravyn. My biggest issues were with Katerina and the human, I'm sure Elena could handle the witch and Ravyn has her own revenge in mind I'm sure.

I sighed and drank some more. "You and me both. I'm teaching James how to feed without taking a life. As for Katerina she did everyone a favor, I wasn't going to risk Elena's life. I did not want to deal with Nik." Which was completely true. "I just hope Bekah won't stake me again, that hurts like hell." My hearing picked up talking on the property line. The male voice I knew was Kol but I didn't know the female voice. Which caused me to have a look of confusion plastered on my face. "Sounds like Kol brought home a female."

"Well as long as your helping the human its fine and I guess I can't be angry at Katerina though I don't know the full story nor do I want to know. As for Bekah I'll deal with that." I told her and poured me another glass. Sometimes I wish I could get a buzz going to just leave all this chaos alone. I listened as Ravyn brought up Kol's name. I used my hearing also. "And it seems shes a vampire." I told her. I didn't hear a heartbeat, I wonder who this could be.

"Her voice isn't familiar so she's new in town." I said shrugging my shoulders. "I guess we'll find out." I said as the voices got closer. Then the front door opened.

I wanted to laugh a bit at how Ravyn and I were playing detective. "Maybe shes an old friend of Kol's before Niklaus daggered him." I told her. The front door opened and Ravyn and waited to see who our guest was.

I was talking with Selene up until we got to the front door. I took a deep breath and looked at her. I turned the door knob and pushed open the door as I exhaled. I walked through the door and motioned for Selene to come in. I cleared my throat before calling out into the quiet house. I couldn't tell if it was Ravyn in the library with Elijah or if it was Rebekah. "Ravyn are you home?"

Kol and I talked about just random stuff, kinda like catching up. It stopped thought when we reached his front door and he took a deep breath giving me a quick glance. I followed him inside and I could feel my stomach form knots, Kol called out a name and I knew it was my mothers. Ravyn, she has a really pretty name. I played with hands and looked at Kol. "I'm nervous." I mumbled.

I looked to Selene when she said she was nervous. "It's okay, I'm not going to let anything happen to you." I said to her kindly. If anyone should be nervous it should be me. I had a bad feeling that this was going to go south. I prayed that it didn't. Ravyn reveled Nik in the anger department, in some ways. But her meeting her daughter, meant i'd more then likely have to deal with a pissed of mother. Who is a vampire, i'm not sure that that's such a good combination.

"I'm in the library with Elijah." I said when I heard him ask if I was home. I quickly set my empty glass down after I finished it off. I grabbed the book off the shelf that I wanted to read. I flipped through all of the title pages and what not while listening to the girl say she was nervous. And Kol saying he wouldn't let anything happen to her. I was now curious to see who she was, but I returned to reading the first page of the book.

Elijah? That might be another brother of Kol's, I didn't really know much about his family. I looked to Kol waiting for him to lead me to them, to my mother. I couldn't stop fidgeting with my hands.

I watched as Ravyn started reading a book she found and waited for Kol to make his appearance with our guest. I couldn't figure it for the life of me who it was and I was especially curious when she had told him she was nervous and Kol said he wouldn't let anything happen to her. Who could she be?

I noticed Selene's hands were fidgetting so I took one of her hands in mine. "Come on it's alright." I said as I lead her to the library. I braced myself as I walked through the door way with Selene at my side. Elijah was drinking and Ravyn was reading. I cleared my throat to get Ravyn's attention I had no clue how to do this.
