Lesson (Lucas/Victoria)

I smile softly and take her hand and start leading her down the road. We walk and I smile softly. So, what do you think? I chuckle. Do I get a second date? I smile.

"Well, I'm positive. I guess I like to spent time with you. And I don't know if I should be scared about this fact." I laugh and and place one hand on my head.

I chuckle as we approach her front door. We pause on the doorstep and look at each other. Depends, is it a good or a bad fear? I look down at her as a small smile plays across my lips. Her porch light gives off a dim glow over us.

"I would say it looks good for you, Reid. But I'm not exactly sure hat I would expect, if we would have a second date. What can you offer me?" I say and raise my eyebrows with amusement. I look up to him and wait for his answer.

I raise my eyebrows. Drive in my corvette to a park a few miles from here. Bring a picnic, wine; play music on the car's stereo, dance, watch the sunset, spar if you'd like. I suggest. An amused smile crosses my features. Playing hard to get, isn't she? Interesting experience.

"Sounds good to me" I reply and search for the keys. My apartment was no longer the one that I had to share with this stupid girl Tiffany. I shake my head and open the dark wooden door of my home. I turn back to Luke. "When?", I ask and go closer to him.

I wrap my arms around her waist and smile down at her. Tomorrow. Pick you up at 7. I brush the hair from her eyes and kiss her I press my forehead to hers and speak again. Sound good?

"Sounds good", I smile back at him and go into my apartment. I close the door behind me and take a deep breath. Wow, I think and shake my head. I was not expecting that a dance lesson could bring me to this point.

A huge smile graces my lips as soon as she shuts the door. I smile and walk back to my house. Sure I miss Kendall, but things are looking up. Victoria's perfect for me in every way. She's not afraid to tell me I'm being an ass, and I'm not afraid to tell her to shut up. She's brave, smart, kind, gorgeous. She's everything. I drift to sleep with thoughts of Victoria

At 7:30 I change into dark jeans, a black button down shirt and shoes. I pack a basket of classy peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches, chips, red wine and grapes. I walk into the garage and climb into my Camaro Zi Convertible. I drive to Victoria's apartment and arrive at exactly 8:00. I knock on her door and smile.

I rush to the door and take a deep breath before I open the door. I have a white dress on and black flats, my hair is open and goes down in golden waves. I feel like I will get a heart attack. I open the door slowly and smile as I see Luke waiting for me. "Hello", I say and close the door behind me. I'm surprised that I'm so nervous. But it gets better after a while. Well, I hope.

I smile and kiss her cheek. Hi. You look stunning. I motion to the car. Ready to go? She looks stunning. Absolutely stunning. She's amazing.

"You look good yourself", I say and smile at him, while I go towards the car.The weather is really warm and even though it is eight o'clock it is still light outside. Luke opens the door for me and I enter the car. Now I'm excited, not nervous anymore, even though my heart is beating a little faster than normal. And he can probably hear that. The fact that we have time for us makes me feel happy and relieved. I look at Luke, while he is concentrated to watch the road in front of us and I smile. I just enjoy being near this gorgeous man.

A small smile plays across my features as I feel her eyes on me. What're you looking at? I smile softly as I drive. Probably about five to ten more minutes to go.

I shrug and look out of the window “Just looking around”, I say and lean against the seat. “Where exactly are we driving to? Is it outside of Mystic Falls?”, I ask and look around. We are definitely not exactly in Mystic Falls. The only thing that I can really see is forest. Green trees and bushes all around. It gets darker.

I chuckle and pull off the road onto a dirt path. I pull onto the side of the road and a grassed cliff is revealed. I stop the car and climb out of the car. I grab the basket and open Victoria's door. We're here. A huge grassed area is there, a lake beneath the cliff. It's gorgeous.

I really like the place where we are and close the car door behind me. I wonder how he always finds those places. Together we put the things on the ground and sit down. Luke takes out the wine bottle and I give him the two wine glasses. It is beautiful outside. “I really like this place”, I say and look around.

I smile and fill up her glass first. I hand it to her before pouring myself a glass and taking a sip. I'm glad. I take out the sandwiches and grapes from the basket. For dinner, my classiest peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I chuckle. I already proved I can cook; now we can relax. No need to impress each other anymore. you always impress me. I finish in my head.

"That's a deal", I say and take one of the sandwiches. I didn't know that I was so hungry. We silently take a few bites, looking at each other. "And by the way", I say and put down the sandwich, "You already impress me Luke. I mean you don't really have to do a lot." I smile and lean against him, while I take a sip of the wine.

I wrap my free arm around her and smile softly as the sun starts to set. You always impress me. Funny how I'm happy just sitting with you. Happy to share the silence, and speak when words are needed. I kiss her temple and turn back to the sunset. I trace slow circles on her arm with my hand that's wrapped around her.

I nod. "Sometimes you don't have to speak. Just to look at each other is enough" I say and sigh. I love this date. It is not complicated and we are just ourselves. And that's what I love. "Luke" I begin and look at him seriously, "I love your peanut butter and jelly sandwiches", I laugh and take another bite of it.

I laugh. Thank you; they're my specialty. I smile and take a bag of grapes from the basket. I take one out and chuckle as she opens her mouth. I feed her the grape and laugh at her nonchalant look.

"Hey, stop laughing!" I say, but I have to smile as well. I try to take the grapes out of his hands, but he raises his arm and shakes his head. And the grape fight begins. We laugh and try to get the grapes, which start rolling all over the place. I try to get the rest of it and pull Luke on the ground as I fall myself.

I laugh as she falls on top of me. A single grape is between my front teeth. I rest my hands on the small of her back and raise my eyebrows. Waiting for her next move.

I smile and bend down to him to get the grape with my teeth. Our lips touch as I get the grape with my tongue. I grin at him and say: "It's delicious. Too bad there is no other that you get eat" We keep laying in the same position, still looking at each other with amusement.

A smirk crosses my lips. I'll take a kiss over a grape any day. I smile softly up at her and brush the fallen hair away from her fvace. I shake my head slowly. I can buy a new bag of grapes; I can't buy a new you. I wink. You're one of a kind. I smile.
