The Soldier and The Girl

Erin blushed as she listened and grasped onto each word closely. "Markie..." She did not realize what she called him as she looked at him. Her blue eyes wandered over his face and then they rested upon his black eyes and then his lips. She then forced her eyes to look away from his lips and back up at his face. Her blush grew more on her face as her lips parted even more. She looked like a small angel.

Erin blushed brightly as she looked into his eyes. "You heard that nickname? I am so sorry. I don't know where it came from. I just..sort of...said it." She bit her lip shyly as she made her eyes look at Mark still. Her heart raced faster and louder in her chest as her blush grew to a very bright pink. It was a wonderful feeling to feel like this around someone.

Erin smiles and then kisses his cheek without warning. "I am glad you like it Markie. I am going to call you that only in private so then people do not think of me as being a weirdo for calling you such a name." Her blush grew as her lips were still close to his cheek. She could smell his cologne now and wanted to melt. It smelt amazing.

Mark really did enjoy Erin's touch, it felt like he didn't feel pain. Though deep inside pain wa all he had.. "Yeah, but you aren't a weirdo. I don't mind you calling me like that in public, it's just, I feel like a big soft bear when you call me like that. It's so opposit of me, I'm not soft or cuddly..." It really was true, though he felt warm and soft inside of himself. At sometimes he wanted to know what was it like being a polar bear.. They were so soft, gentle, cute.. But pretty much deadly. Hmm..

Erin whispered, "You are my big bear though Mark. I just want to be by you at all times and cuddle with you." She looked into his eyes as she felt like she was leaning in closer to him. She could not help it at all. she felt drawn in by the very attractive man that held her onto his own lap. She blushed more.

Erin kissed his cheek as she moved in closer to his muscular chest. "Mark, I don't care about your past or your present or who you think you are, all I know is that no matter what I will accept you. I can promise you that now. This is the first time I have opened up to someone after my parents' death to the fire. I have never been this open before. My brother scares the death out of me so I can not trust him as well, but I feel different with you. I feel like that I am to trust you no matter what." She then looked up at him with shy eyes.

Erin frowned as she saw his look moving away. "M-M-Markie?" She only stuttered for one reason and one reason alone. She was afraid of losing him. HE was looking away and not at her at all. Had she done something to anger him? She then let go of him, thinking she had done something terrible and scooted to the other side of the couch. Maybe he just did not want to be more than friends with her. No one wanted to really.

Erin frowned as the words sunk into her more. Maybe she should just leave Mark and go home. Maybe he really did not want her to be there. Even though that she wanted to stay with him no matter what and be there for him, she could see that he was uncomfortable. Maybe she should leave. A single tear fell from her right eye as she quickly wiped it away before he could see it go down her cheek. "M-M-Maybe I should g-go." she said in a stuttered filled, soft voice towards Mark. She did not want to go.

Erin stood up and walked to him. She touched the code that was upon his neck. Her soft fingers traced the code as she whispered, "What is this Markie?" Her voice was filled with so much innocence that it would make anyone smile. Her fingers kept tracing the code as her eyes looked it over very closely. She was ever so confused on what the code meant or why it was there in the first place.

Erin showed that she was in fact worried about Mark as she then stood up, walking up to him. Her small hands snaked around him as she hugged him. "Markie..." was all she could really whisper to him as she was worried about him. She knew he was not in the right mental state to be in a house all alone with the guns he had and the way he was in. She then vowed she would stay there to with him to help him and make sure he would not do anything like kill himself.

Erin noticed his distance glance and frowned. She wished that she could understand what he was saying before, but she knew she was not going to bring it up unless he was going to tell her. Her heart stung as she looked at Mark with her sad blue eyes. Why was she so hurt by all of this? Maybe because she knew she had a crush on him. Already. "M-M-M-Markie..." she finally stuttered out to him.

Erin could not help herself when she kissed his cheek very gently. Her lips were on his right cheek as she then whispered into his ear, "I can not help but to worry about people Mark. That is one of the only few things I know what to do. I know how to help and care for people that I care about." She then kissed his right cheek again as she pulled him closer to her very small frame.

Erin then smiled as she looked at his lips shyly. "I am can not help but to worry about the ones that I truly love Mark. And you are one of those people that I truly love." Her lips were so close to kissing his. Her heart did race a bit as she found herself biting her lip. Oh how she just wanted to kiss his lips.
