| James continued, sitting there, unaware of what was going on around him: fighting appeared to have disappeared as Damon sped off up above the tomb, unsure of what exactly would come next. He knew how Bonnie felt about vampires, but then there were her feelings about how she felt about him, as a human; as he used to be. His worries and doubts appeared to vanish as Bonnie walked over to him, placing both of her chocolate-colored hands onto his face, he always did find her so sexy, even if he never admitted it to her.
His eyes moved up to hers, although at first he tried dodging her lock she had attempted to establish. He just felt so many emotions right in that moment, too many to handle. He had now figured out why Irene was so worried about flipping the switch back on to let her emotions through, it was very, very overwhelming to have all of them jumbled around in the mind.
As she had leaned in to kiss him, he appeared to try to force his face away: which was hard, seeing as he was still weak from dying. Soon locking lips, he could feel her heart pumping the blood through every vein in her body. It looked to take every fiber of his body to fight against the urge, with that, he was not able to kiss her back. Unsure of whether or not she would know why, was unclear.
"No, please.." He paused, trying to move backwards a little even though he was already backed up into a wall. "I don't want to hurt you, Bonnie. I didn't even want this"

| Bonnie let her hands drop and looked at James. She just couldn't say anything, everything was different now. She got angry. What did her boyfriend have to be taken from her. She couldn't even have him as a vampire because he didn't want her. "Fine. Whatever." she said turning so he couldn't see the tears that were going to fall from her eyes. She walked by him and went toward the entrance of the cave. Her anger got the best of her and she looked at him once and said "Then do what you want, die for all I care." | |

| James' eyes too soon swelled with tears as Bonnie had looked away, what had he done? At first, he believed to be protecting her from himself, and his apparent hunger for blood that did not vanish, but remained throughout. It did not appear like she had noticed his tears, but he could hear hers seem to drop and hit the floor of the tomb with rather loud 'thumps'.
After she had began walking away, James forced himself to stand, using all of his strength to not fall over; to keep his balance. He knew that he was not going to be able to go outside when the sun was up; if it still was. When he had went into the tomb it had not yet set. He soon stumbled over to where Bonnie was, about to reach to her as she said the words that had seemed to send James into a downward spiral, full of emotion, of regret.
No matter, he still reached out and grabbed her shoulder: sun burning his hand as it reached. "No, please, don't go. I did not mean it like that." He paused, pulling his hand back in finally after she was facing him. "I still love you, even more now. But I did not want this, I wanted to stay human, to be able to grow up, marry, have kids. But that has now all come to a screeching halt." He told her, locking stares with her.

| Bonnie turned and looked at him and saw he was telling the truth. "I'm sorry I shouldn't have said that." she said and led him back deeper in the cave so he didn't get burnt. "Ill have to make you a ring later, but for now it looks like we are stuck in here." she said it but she couldn't look at him. He may have not meant what he said in that way but she still held it in her mind. Maybe his feelings have changed. she kept thinking. She sat down with her back to the wall of the tomb and tried to wipe the tears that were still there. Did she have anyone any more? | |

| "Whatever Salvatore." I hissed at him. "I'll deal with you later." I said releasing my hold on him and watched as he left the tomb. I let out a heavy sigh and leaned against the wall. I looked at Bonnie and James as I watch what was happening. "James your emotions are hightened, so are your senses." I sighed in aggitation. "He's in transition, he hasn't fed so he can go outside. It'll just hurt his eyes." I clenched my jaw, trying to keep myself in check. I was hungry and trying not to flip my switch. The pain of having to turn James and knowing that Bonnie would hate me for it was gnawing at my insides. Not to mention everyone had thought that I had let Rebekah kill Elena. Damon just went off the rails. I was pretty sure that I would snap soon. "You can go home just stay way from any family members if you have any." I didn't know much about James's family. "Call me when you make your decision and try not to snack on Bonnie." I deadpanned as I looked at James with a glare. I didn't need him hurting Bonnie, it would kill him and he'd become a loose cannon. "I have to feed and find someone for you if you decide to turn." | |

| James continued to stand there, facing the outside of the tomb as Bonnie had walked back in, dodging his shoulder as she did so. He did not know why he was acting the way he was, could it be that being a vampire was changing him; after all, he did die and come back to life, needing to live off of human blood for the rest of existence. But, only if he decided to complete the transition, which he did not seem to want to do.
He stared outside, while also listening to Ravyn speak: she appeared to be an expert on turning humans into Vampires; how many, however, James did not know. "yes, I kind of got that part" He replied to her, about his senses being heightened, as well as his emotions. It felt like a levee had broken, causing a gigantic waterfall of emotion to run rampant through his body, and mind. He had understood her somewhat-threat to him as she mentioned Bonnie. He had not, did not, would never feed on her to complete his transition. He did not even want this in the first place.
Finally, taking one more glance up into the blue sky, he turned around, walking back inside the main area of the tomb; then sitting down rather close to Bonnie as he slowly moved his hand to hers, and held it. He whispered 'I still love you. Even now, even as a vampire. That love will never cease' Looking back up to Ravyn as she stood over them. "I have no plans to feed." he said, pausing slightly, locking stares with Bonnie. "you could never love me, not like this"

| Bonnie looked down at their interlocked hands and felt a rush of love. She loved so much. and when he said he wasn't going to feed she looked into his eyes and cried. She couldn't loose him not again. "James, please. I can't loose you. I almost did and Ray saved you. I know you don't want this but I love you. I always will. I need you to drink and stay with me. I will always love you no matter what you are." she took a breathe and squeezed his hand. She refused to lose him. | |

| I listened to Bonnie basically beg James to feed. I knew that see loved him, you could see it in her eyes and the demeanor of her body. I was ashamed of myself for not getting to him sooner and for having to force him into transition. "James if you're going to complete the transition then you might as well come with me." I said looking towards Bonnie, with an expressionless face. "I'll make sure he doesn't kill anyone." | |

| James was already in too deep of his well of emotion, he was practically drowning as the water was already overflowing at the rim. It did not seem to help matters any when Bonnie was pretty much on her knees begging him to drink human blood. But was it worth the eternity alone? If him and Bonnie did not work out after everything, he would spend it alone; all alone, by himself wandering the plains of nothingness.
Tears began welling up in his eyes, which he had attempted, and failed, to hold back as she squeezed his hand. A faint smile showed itself upon his face soon after, as he just stared at the floor of the tomb, seemingly motionless. Lost amongst his thoughts, everything he knew about Vampires; or everything he thought he knew: it was a lot more overwhelming then he had first thought. The emotion, the bloodlust that he needed to fight just being in the same room as Bonnie, he even had the urge of grabbing a stake and driving it through his heart so Bonnie would not need to see him like this. Even if she said she still loved him, he saw the look on her face: detest, hatred for what he had become; not even being able to be in the same room as him, it appeared at first. She had no idea what he needed to fight, let alone if he wanted to stay with her: which he did, very much so. He wanted to marry her right on the spot. Could have been his emotions being in a washing machine, but he did have those feelings before.
Continuing to stare at the floor as Ravyn spoke, his tears began making puddles on his bloodied shirt. It was his favorite shirt too; as a human, his dinner jacket had been thrown off back on the street corner after she had been kidnapped, and he swore he'd do anything to get her back. What happened, he did it for her, it was all his doing; nothing should fall on her shoulders, but it appeared as if she was believing it was her fault.
Looking slowly to Bonnie with a blank stare on his face, then up to Ravyn, he slowly stood and made his way over to the door of the tomb; taking a glance back to Bonnie as he stood. "I do love you, I am in love with you, even now. I hope you know that"

| Bonnie looked at him "Then lease drink." she said reaching out toward him slightly. She didn't care anymore if he was a vampire. she needed him in her life. She could take care of herself and if he was worried for her safety then he was stupid. Just breathing in Mystic Falls was dangerous. She looked him the eye and let every emotion she held for him there. "At least think about it. Please James? For me? If you love me you will consider finishing the transition." The tears started to stop and she took a breath and kept going with it. "Please stay with me." | |

| His glance appeared to be cut short as Bonnie's arm soon reached toward him. It had saddened him, somewhat, seeing Bonnie like that: looking at him with love in her eyes, when only a few minutes before she did not even want to be near him, even in the same room as him. He slowly turned around to face her, holding her hands within his, taking all the strength he had to not just walk out of that door right then. As she looked into his steel gray eyes, he seemed to know how she felt, exactly how she felt; in that moment.
His perspectives appeared to change, somewhat, in that moment of love. Whether he wanted to live as a vampire, or not, he continued to look into her eyes as his begun to turn red, and appear to glow - similar to werewolves, but his appeared to be bloodshot, veins protruding beneath them. His hunger appeared to be showing through his exterior.
He appeared, afraid: that he was going to hurt Bonnie. But then, glancing down at their hands which remained to be held, and just thinking about the times they spent together, the happy times, the emotional times; the really small, almost unnoticeable veins began sinking back into his skin like they were never there.
Knowing that it would be okay, he soon swept Bonnie up into his arms for one, passionate, intimate, hopefully not their last kiss together: but if it had been, he made sure to make it one that she would never forget. Soon though, he pulled away, staring into her beautiful green eyes, he looked to Ravyn. "Let's go, then"
The sun appeared to gleam down the stairwell onto a small, felt container that lay where James had been staked before being turned, a little gold trim around the opening.

| I looked between the two of them and waited patiently. I watched as they talked to each other and kissed. I was on edge seeing how close James was to Bonnie. I didn't want him to act on instinct now he would go off the deep end if he hurt her. James basically told me that he was ready to turn. "Bonnie do you want to go make the ring while I take him somewhere to feed?" I didn't want Bonnie to see him feed but it was her choice. "Should I take you to someone's house to shelter you from the sun? At least until you get a daylight ring." Where could I take him to feed that he wouldn't burn up afterwords. I didn't want to take him to my house and the Salvatore's was a bad idea now. | |

| Bonnie looked at them. "Yeah I will go make the ring and you can meet me at my house." she said and watched as they started to leave. They left the opening of the cave and she looked around at the area where James had fell and she saw a small black box. It had some dirt on it and she went to pick it up. She dusted it off and opened the lid in side was a cute silver rind with a small heart shaped gem on the top. She looked at it in confusion. "What is this?" she asked herself. But put it in her pocket and went to go walk and and make the ring for James. | |

| James soon nodded in Ravyn's direction as she departed, and he soon followed. "yea, that sounds like a good idea." He told her, soon taking another glance back to see Bonnie walk off in another direction. His cravings appeared to be subsiding now that he was not near blood; but just thinking about Bonnie, and their love: it seemed to keep his supernatural side at bay; somehow. | |

| "James would you feel more comfortable with drinking from a blood bag?" I asked him as I started to leave but stopped. I was trying to think of how we could do this. I looked at Bonnie. "We'd have to wait for the sun to go down for us to meet you at your house." I sighed not knowing what to do. "If he drinks from a blood bag he can stay in your house and not have to worry about going near sun light." | |

| Bonnie looked at her "i can go and get everything set up at my house." she said and looked at James wanting to ask if the ring was his but decided there would be a better time. "Ill go back and get the ring done and I will be there so when it gets dark you can run over there." she said trying to come up with solutions. | |

| James looked to Bonnie as she soon spoke, and then looked at him. There seemed to be a gleam of love in her eyes, and a gleam of the same emotion, but even more of it in his. In the confusion, and death, his mind only appeared to be concentrating on one or two things: his love for Bonnie, and living life as a Vampire for eternity.
He gave a slight nod to Bonnie, and a smile grew on his face: he did not know why, from what he had heard Vampires don't smile.. Holding out his hand, and grabbing Bonnie's again, he lightly kissed them before slowly pulling away, fingertips were the last things to touch as he turned toward Ravyn, and slowly followed her.

| after Bonnie had gotten back to her house a couple hours later and had cast the spell n the ring for James she sat down on her couch and looked at the ring she had found again. she was still curious as to what it was. She wasn't even sure if it was James' but she had a very good feeling that it was. She ran her finger over he gem and admired how beautiful it was. She took it out of the velvet that it was nested in and hed it up to the light. There was no harm in trying it on.So she slipped on to her ring finger and was amazed that it fit, perfectly. Ok so it was James' but what was it for? | |

| I left with James following me. I made a quick stop at the Salvatore house and jacked a few of their blood bags. I made James stay in the driveway. I quickly drank a blood bag as I filled my spare bag with the blood bags I was taking. I met James outside a few minutes later. I had him follow me into the woods so we could talk without anyone interrupting us. I explained to him what was going to happen after he drank. I explained the blood lust and how it was going to effect him. That he would have to be careful with the humans and extremely careful with Bonnie. I spent the day telling him everything that he would need to know. I answered all of his questions. The sun started to set and I lead James to Bonnie's house. We were standing on her porch when I turned to look at him. I knocked on her door as I asked him a question. "Are you ready James?" | |

| It was a somewhat stressful day for James, having to fight the urge to bite down on any person that walked beside him in the street. It wasn't that tough, as he was still in transition and not a full vampire yet, allowing him to fight the urges as they were not very strong. He just tried keeping his attention on Ravyn the entirety of their 'trip' and on Bonnie, and his feelings for her; which made it easier, to live through that day.
Soon stopping off at the boarding house, Ravyn walked in to grab a few blood bags or something, James did not seem to know, or remember, what it was she was grabbing. He stood on the doorstep for several minutes, just looking up at the sun: the light seemed to take a quicker burning effect on his eyes; must have been part of the transition. Had he been a full vampire right there, without a ring, he would have perished into a pile of ash on the ground underneath him. She soon departed, bring James with her into the forest.
He seemed to have a lot of questions, about being a vampire, how much was involved in not tearing out people's throats, while also getting to know Ravyn a little better. He learned all about the blood lust that was involved, as well as her seeming-to-be threat to Bonnie. But he gave her a nod, he would never do anything to hurt her: she was the love of his life, the girl he had planned to wed, the girl he had bought the promise ring fo- 'oh for the love of' he said, under his breath as he felt around in his pockets, but he could not find the case he had been looking for. Could it have fallen out back at the tomb when he was staked by that bitch? He didn't really want to think about it.
They arrived on Bonnie's doorstep soon after their day of fun before he needed to become a full on vampire. Taking a glance to Ravyn. "no, but I don't really have a choice do I? It is either don't drink, and die, or leave Bonnie on this earth forever grieving."

| Bonnie was sitting and trying to calm herself, she still felt a bit hysterical about what had happened but she was ok and she would help James through all this. She was thinking about the ring again and looking at the box that she had on the coffee table when she heard faint voices on the porch. She went and threw open the door and saw Ray and James standing there. "Hey." she said and then she remembered and said "Come in" to James. it was weird having to invite him in but that was just a one time thing. | |

| James stood there at the door to Bonnie's house, facing Ravyn, as he awaited for a reply when she swung the door open and appeared to invite them in. Him more specifically then Ravyn, could be because she was already allowed inside her humble abode, where as James being 'new' he was not yet allowed in: but he did not know what would have happened, had he went to step inside. He would have thought that question would have come up in their day full of fun and games, but apparently had not.
He soon swept inside with his bloodied shirt that he had worn all day; not bothering to change. "thanks, Bonnie. So, how exactly is this going to work? I've never really needed a ring like this before for my life as a.... vampire" He appeared to dread that word, he seemed to be doing this for Bonnie, so she wouldn't have to be alone in the world. He would have rather not have to go through eternity without her, but James just couldn't leave Bonnie, his love was too strong for her needs.

| He walked, slowly, into her living room, following her almost every step like the floor was hot lava. James was scared, for the first time in his life, he was scared: scared of what the hell he was becoming, how he would live, and most of all; how Bonnie would view him now that he was one of the things that she disliked.
He stood by the couch as if he had never been in her house before; like it was new territory to him. He felt.. uncomfortable, even in his own skin; like there was something evil inside, scratching, trying to get out: his hunger, which was not as strong seeing as he was only in transition, but it was existent. James looked to Bonnie as she entered the room and handed him his daylight ring: It was very... unique, silver band with a seemingly 'cracked heart', the two curves at the top did not come together. Whether it was significant in their relationship, it was amiss to James. But the Lapis Lazuli stone was so beautiful, like the girl who had created the ring: it had so much essence radiating from it, hard to pull his eyes away.
Their hands brushed soon as he felt a rather nice rush of feelings shoot through him like a jolt of lightning. A smile grew on his face as he took the ring, and soon placed it on his ring finger on his right hand; not necessarily to represent their love, that was only one. Because he was right handed, it only seemed to feel natural, to have the ring on that hand.
"Thanks - Bonnie" He told her, having an urge to give her a hug and kiss her; but unknown how he would react to her, he tried to hold back. But his emotions were too strong; overpowering his will as he walked to her and swept her up and hugged her: wrapping both of his arms around her tightly.
