| One moment, James and Bonnie had been running, booking it for the entrance to the tomb, sprinting for their lives; and the next, James had a stake through his chest. It happened as fast as Rebekah taking Bonnie, if not faster. The blood began draining out, slowly, in agonizing pain he laid on the floor of the old tomb clutching at his open wound.
Bonnie soon came over and began weeping on his chest. He did not seem to notice her at first, however. Overtaken by the anger that had swelled up within him, add in the pain from his wound, and the shock. Looking down, he very slowly raised his hand and placed it upon Bonnie's back as she continued crying. 'hey there, don't. It will just be tougher on me' he whispered to her, trying not to speak very much.

| Katherine awoke, listening to hollering and screaming within the tomb. Apparently this bitch Rebekah needed to be dealt with. Who else was better for the job? Katherine's eyes shot open as she looked at Damon's pain. She kinda said sorry with her eyes as she dashed over to Rebekah and knocked her roughly into some stone with her face facing the brick. She turned Rebekah around, as she was still healing and smacked her. She stepped back and kicked her twice in the face.
"Oh em gee! I JUST WHACKED AN OR---Oh..right..." Katherine sped over to Ravyn, hastily pulling out the stake, then to Damon, making sure she held her sleeves over her fingers so she wouldn't get stung. She quickly untied him. "Go eat a witch or whatever, this bitch is an original!" She whispered as she ran back over ready for the next round.

| The witch must have realised what was going on. Because I was suddenly thrown threw a brick wall. Then I ended up getting thrown threw another one. Before I had time to get up, Elena got up and came at me. I managed to get to my feet as she pushed me face first into a wall. I was too shocked to react as I was turned around. "Katerina!" I yelled then she slapped me. I stumbled against the wall as she stepped back. She ended up kicking me in the face twice. I watched her run over to Ravyn and she pulled out the stake. My eyes grew wide. I quickly stood up and ran the hell out of the tomb. Once Elijah and Kol find out about me staking Ravyn they will stake me and stick me back into my coffin. Klaus was even more of a threat when he finds out that I tried to kill his doppelganger. I should have known that Ravyn would have pulled something like that. | |

| I felt the stake pulled out of my heart. After a few minutes I let out a gasp. I sat straight up, and watched as my skin went back to normal. "Fuck me that hurt." I said getting to my feet. "Thanks Kat." I said heading over to Bonnie and James, since Katerina was working on freeing Damon. My wound was already healing as I knelt down next to James. I looked at his wound and suppressed a grimace. I could tell by the amount of blood that was covering him, that he wouldn't last much longer. I didn't have a choice. My face vamped out as I brought my wrist to my lips. I used my fangs to slash open the skin. I placed my now bleeding wrist in front of James's lips. "You have to drink." Was all I said to James as I looked to Bonnie. | |

| "James you can't die on me." she said trying to calm down then Ravyn came over and she freaked out at first not sure what she was doing. "Get away from him!" she clung to his chest then when Ray put her wrist to his mouth she just stood back a little and looked at his face. She felt numb. She sat there like that as James drank and she watched in complete and utter silence. | |

| James' pain continued to get worse as more and more blood leaked out his body, somewhat like a river as it flowed onto the hard cement floor of the tomb. He soon had lost his strength to even hold his arms on Bonnie's chest to comfort her as she lay there crying over his coming death. A tear seemed to drop from James' eye as he looked around to see all of the destruction that was caused by her, the female original.
Glancing back to Bonnie, he could not help but let his tears drop; which were soon interrupted when Ravyn sped over and laid her wrist in front of his mouth instructing him to drink. It hadn't been the first time he had drank vampire blood to heal, the taste was rather like a nosebleed, although he enjoyed the warmth it had given him as he sunk his teeth onto the open area of her wrist and began to drink; to suck the silky red liquid from her flesh as it soon enveloped the insides of his mouth.
A few minutes had passed after drinking before he had then laid there, limp. His head falling down to the cement floor which lay underneath him.

| Bonnie watched and saw as James started to go limp and his breathing stopped, and that was all it took and she snapped. She pushed Ravyn aside and punched her in the face "You bitch! Why didn't you save him!! Why didn't it work!" she screamed at her and was hitting her.

| James finished drinking so I wiped my arm off on my pants. I looked at my wrist expecting it to be healed already. I was surprised when it wasn't, I watched as it healed slowly. My attention went back to James, his breathing slowed and so did his heart beat. I watched and listened as they both stopped, I knew what was going to happen but I didn't stop it. Bonnie pushed me and punched me right in the face. She screamed at me and continued to hit me. Finally I grabbed her wrists and forced her to look at me. My face was blank but I knew my eyes showed deadly intent. "He would have died either way!" I hissed out as my face vamped out on her.
I was extremely hungry even though I had feed earlier with Damon. I had been staked which basically drained me. Plus giving James my blood didn't help. I pushed Bonnie back, so she was away from me. "When he wakes up he'll be in transition. He'll have twenty-four hours to make a choice." I told her moving back away from the blood. I fought myself to get my face to go back to normal, glad that it finally worked but I didn't show it.

| Bonnie just stayed on the ground and listened to Ravyn's words over and over. He would have died either way. She sat down away from James and wrapped her arms around her knees. He was gone. The love of her life was basically dead. he was going to be a vampire. She had failed. She couldn't keep him safe, and it was all her fault. If she hadn't fallen for him in the grill that day that he had walked in, if she hadn't invited him to the bonfire. If she would have had one of the vampire's erase his memories of him knowing. He would be alive right now. It was her fault, all her fault. She didn't even know what to do. So she just sat there looking at James' body wondering what would happen when he woke up. Why him? she asked in her head. She sat there and kept starung and after what seemed like hours she felt the first wave of tears spring to her eyes. | |

| A few hours had now passed, James' body continued to lay there, soaked in his own blood as the color was slowly drained from his skin to a pale white. He was in total darkness in his head, just like falling asleep after the agonizing pain that Rebekah had brought upon him. He was helpless, laying there, unable to do a damn thing as his life force was draining away, his soul was leaving his body.
His fingers began to move soon after, as if they were scratching their way out of a deep wooden coffin in a grave. Followed by his hand, and arm, and then his eyes soon opened after there seemed to be a crack noise which appeared to come from somewhere inside his body as his body snapped alive, leaning up against a wall, he took a quick look around.
Soon spotting Bonnie as she sat there like a patient in a mental hospital, and Ravyn was standing off to the side. But James was unsure of what happened to Katherine, or Elena, he did not know for sure. His emotions seemed heightened, and a thirst for blood appeared to take him over. He attempted to fight it as he looked around. "I-I'm a vampire in.. transition, aren't I?" He asked both of them, not anyone specific, expecting the answer of yes.

| Bonnie looked up as she heard him string and when he asked his question she gave him a firm nod of her head. she could barely talk.she didn't know what to say. She just looked at him and saw the way that he moved was different. She looked up at him and found her voice saying "You have 24 hours." she said it as a statement of fact type voice. Not cold, but no warmth in it either. Just dead. Just the way she felt. She felt dead to the world. | |

| I just looked at Bonnie and James until I finally saw James stir. James asked if he was in transition and Bonnie just looked dead. The only thing she said was you have 24 hours. I decided to step in on that note. "James you have to make a choice. Either die or turn." I deadpanned with dead eyes and a cold tone. "It's your decision and no one else's." I ground my teeth together, trying to control my hunger. I couldn't look at Bonnie, I knew she'd hate me. | |

| As answers seem to pop up from both of the girls in the room, he scuttled back to the wall behind him as he rest his head upon it; laying one leg down while the other was in a triangle shape, knee toward the ceiling, shoe was flat on the ground, as was his butt.
Only had 24 hours to live. It seemed to be repeating itself in his head as he just sat there, staring at a wall in front of him. James kept fighting the bloodlust, the sound of blood pumping through Bonnie's veins as she sat across from him, still appearing frightened of what he had become. Should he become a vampire, or die as what little humanity that he had left.
Was this what his father had to go through when he died, this torture of blood that he had to fight, his emotions all out of whack? James had no idea what his father needed to fight against in order to not complete it. The look on his face: Shock, pain with what he was becoming. He did no want Bonnie to be afraid of him, she never had before. It was killing him, not being able to kiss her, or touch her, or even give her a hug.
He honestly did not know what he was going to do: Drink human blood and transform into evil, or die, and let Bonnie see him die three times in the period of only about two weeks. "I - " Nothing came out of his mouth, he was still in shock.

| Damon just sat there staring at Elena's dead body, for who knows how long. Then she began to move. She was alive but she wasn't Elena. He closed his eyes with both annoyance and relief. It wasn't her, she was still alive. He almost didn't notice when he was set free, he just fell to the side and laid there for a few minutes, blocking out all the commotion around him.
He'd thought he'd lost her, his whole world seized to exist as he watched her lifeless face. He had to do it. He'd been close to it before. He couldn't take feeling anymore, it was slowly killing parts of him. After a long deep breath his eyes snapped open. The switch had been flipped.

| Katherine basically just stood in apposition as she watched the winy little hitch of Rebekah run out, quite fast. Even for an original. She then looked down as Bonnie and some other human were going through a little rift in what looked to be a solid relationship. "Awkward..." she said quietly to herself as she also noticed Damon there...being...not so him.
She gulped, as it looked like something had chhanged win him. "You doin' alright there...skipper?"

| His eyes moved and looked at the person the voice had come from. He knew her from somewhere but he couldn't think of her name no matter how hard he tried. Ignoring her questions he sat up, growling slightly at the pain he'd been subjected too. Someone had to pay for that, he just had to figure out who.
His eyes scanned the room, finding the little huddle around a boy who had been bleeding alot. He could smell the blood clearer than anything else. It was mouthwatering and he wanted some. He was on his feet within a split of a second, stretching his back.

| I looked over my shoulder at Damon, and my eyes darkened. His demeanor seemed to have changed. This couldn't be good, especially after he was wrapped with vervain soaked ropes and staked. He was probably hungry like I was and the smell of James's blood was stifling. I walked over to Damon and stood in front of him. In case he decided to make a move. | |

| Damon tilted his head to the side as Ravyn came to stand before him. After a seconds thought he stepped to the side to get around her. He needed blood to heal, his wounds and he obviously wasn't going to get it from here. Unless he took the witch... no he might need her later on.
He sighed and decided he'd have to go look for it. The Jason boy was already beginning to smell of vampire. "Out of my way."

| He stepped around me and told me to get out of his way. I grabbed onto his arm and yanked him back to look at me. "Touch them and i'll kill you!" I hissed at him. "If you need to feed go back to your house you have blood bags there." He seemed different. I narrowed my eyes at him. "Did you turn it off?" I questioned as I decided to pull him towards the opening of the tomb. | |

| He growled. "If i wanted them they'd already be dead." He spat pulling his arm out of her grasp. He was already annoyed about the hole in his jacket without her ripping it aswell. "Besides they're no good to me dead."
He looked at her and shook his head. "Blood bags are no longer going to cut it. I want the real thing." He took a deep breath and followed her to the opening of the tomb, he was getting impatient now and it was only a matter of time. "What do you care? Release me before i change my mind about your friends. Plenty more witches and vampires out there i could use."

| "I don't give two shits about you flipping your switch." I snarled at him. When he threatened our friends I vamped out. I grabbed him by the throat and slammed him into the wall. "Don't touch our friends!" I snarled in his face. "Now get out of here!" I said before I flung him through the doorway. | |

| Bonnie watched as Damon got mad and came at them and she watched as Ray stood in the way but she couldn't react. all she could do was sit there and look at the wall right behind James. He is a vampire, or he is going to be. she kept repeating those words over and over in her head. | |

| As things were going on around him, within the tomb, he was trapped within his own nightmare. It appeared as if everything was happening in slow motion around him, making it even that much more excruciating. It did, however, give him time to think on his actions: Should he drink human blood to complete the transition, or not succumb to his temptations and die, with Bonnie still loving him the way he was - the way he used to be.
James' emotions were completely out of control, it was rather overwhelming for him, to have them run ramped throughout his entire body, not being able to stop them or expel them away. He couldn't even look around - he didn't want to look around: the look on Bonnie's face would just kill him if he had. Staring down at the concrete floor of the tomb, he felt helpless as there were sounds of fighting and talking going on in front of him which he attempted to drown out.
He continued to sit there for several more minutes until the fighting had appeared to subside, which to him, appeared to be several days. James had no idea what he was going to do, or even say to them. It was just a lot for him to take in.
"So, if I choose to not drink blood, then I die. But if I drink blood, then you" He finally looked up, toward Bonnie "will resent me for the rest of your life. I don't know if that is a burden I can take on."

| When James started to speak it seemed so far away. It killed her that she couldn't run to him and hold him and kiss him. But she was just there numb. He had died. Again, in front of her eyes and she had failed again at saving him. What he said to her made her snap out of her mental patient=like state. If he didn't he would die. Again. She couldn't watch him die again,in front of her, when this time she could do something. But the other option of dying is turning into a vampire, which one is better? She had seen what Elena went through the happiness she had with Stefan, but she also saw the hurt and the pain when he turned off his humanity. She looked up in to James' eyes and made her decision. She got up and it felt like time was standing still she walked over to him so slowly she was surprised she was moving at all. She put both hands on his face and pulled him forward. "I won't resent you. I can't lose you. You have to drink James." she said it plan and simple no room for argument then she gave him the kiss she had been dying to give him since she saw him come into the tomb to rescue her. | |

| He laughed and wrapped his hands around hers at him throat. "Then get out of my way! They aren't my friends, i have none!" He spat, he trusted no one. Not even his brother. It was him against the world once more, just the way he liked it. It was simpler that way and a lot less painful.
"You finished?" He asked waiting for her to move out the way. "Good, you carry way too much drama." He said before running off to find his next victim.
