Work and Other Stuff (Nic//Erin)

I walked into the closet and changed into a white lace dress, black high heals and I rushed to put on some red lip stick. My eyes looked at him as I smiled shyly.

I smile and stand. I brush the hair from her face. You're beautiful. I entwine my fingers in hers and peck her lips before leading us downstairs. I open the door to my truck for her before climbing in on my side. I start the car and put one hand on the wheel. I entwine my other hand in hers. After about thirty minutes we arrive at a small restaurant on a lake called Hillstone. I climb out of the car, open the door for Erin, extend my hand for her. I thought we could eat somewhere quiet. A small smile plays on my lips.

I step put of the truck with him as I smiled some more. "This is so romantic." I ehispered shyly up towards my amazong boyfriend.

I smile and entwine my fingers in hers. As we walk up to the front door, I speak. I try my best. Thought I'd make it up to you for having to run out last night. I open the front door for her and step inside behind her. The atmosphere is quiet and calm. It's not dark, but there's decent mood lighting. An Australian hostess speaks from the podium, Mr. Sparks, good to see you, sir. Steven told me you were coming. We prepared a table on the lake for you and your guest. I nod. Thank you, Cynthia. She smiles and leads up to the back. I rest a hand on the small of Erin's back and guide her out the door. I pull her chair out for her and sit. We have a lovely view of the lake. Cynthia hands each of us a menu and speaks again. Mr. Sparks, we don't have trout tonight. Unfortunately the boat is still down. I raise my eyebrows and nod. I'll take a look at it later, thank you. She nods and walks off. If you haven't guessed, this is one of my restaurants. I own a few of them, but I hire managers to run the place. I like to come by and cook one and a while. This is my favorite of all of my establishments. I smile.

I smile as I then grab his hand from across the table, squeezing it gently. "It is a wonderful establishment. You are wonderful." I then peck his lips as move closer to him at that moment.

I smile and kiss her again. Thank you for that. I look at the menu and smile softly. This looks like its going to be a good night.

As I was looking at the menu, a gust of wind came by and made me cold. I was shivering and shaking slighty.

I watch her shiver. I stand and peck her temple. I'll be right back. I run around to the front of the restaurant and grab my leather jacket from the truck. I run back to the table and drape it over her shoulders before sitting back down. Better?

The jacket was huge on me, but it was perfect. My arms weny through the sleeves as I then smiled and then leaned forward to peck his lips. "Thank you so much Nic."

I smile. My pleasure. A waiter comes up and asks us for our drink and food orders. I motion for Erin to speak first. Ladies first. I smile.

I smile as I then say, "An apple martini please." I theb look at him with my bright blue eyes and then look down at my hands then.
