Boys and a Bow&Arrow [Luke&Tyler]

I finished off my can of beer and reached for another one. Luke was having some girl problems and as his best friend I decided he need a night out, well a guys night out. It worked that one time with Jer and I. As of right now we were sitting on some boulderns and callapsed trees drinking beer and Luke was messing with the bow and arrow. "You know for a guy who was in the military, I'm surprised you have to figure out have to work that."

I smirk. Forgive me, but I live in the 21st century where we use guns instead of toys. I tease. I grin and finally get the arrow notched. I pull the string back aiming for the center of a tree; I release the string as I breathe out and smile as it hits dead center. I set the bow down and take a swig of beer. I set the can down and smirk at Tyler. Don't tell a Marine he doesn't know how to use a weapon. Chances are, I gesture at the tree and smile. He'll figure it out.

"Excuse me Captain America." I said and reached for the bow. I put another arrown in it and got it in place. I aimed at the tree and shot. It didn't hit the center but it hit the tree. "Say anything about how I missed and I'll punch you." I told him. He knew I was just kidding, which I was, but I didn't want him to think this was comepetition. I just brought him out here to get his mind off stuff. Man when did I become so nice?

I raise my hands in surrender. I smile. Wouldn't dream of saying a thing. I grin and pick up an arrow, flipping it in my hands. I grip it like a football before slinging it at the tree. I laugh as it zings right through the tree.

I set the bow down on my lap. "Alright, I hate to be buzzkill bob right now but really dude, whats going on?" I asked. I was more than willing to just sit up here and drink and shoot arrows but this guy was having major relationship issues. I did not need another Stefan, Damon, and Elena, in my life.

I shake my head. Well, Erin is still pushing me to turn her, but I don't want to. I'd rather her hate me then my have to live forever knowing I ruined her life. I take a swig of my drink. It's not an easy thing. She says she's ready to 100% commit to me. She says she wants to spend eternity with me, forever. I just think 100 years from now she'll regret it. I don't know.

"Wow, you guys just got married and she already wants to be turned." I said and shook my head. I took another swig of my beer and looked at Luke. "Honestly dude, don't turn her. I don't know anybody thats happy about bein turned." I told him. I could be wrong, maybe some did like being immortal but they didn't seem like they did.

I nod. Yeah I know. I'd rather lose her than ruin her life. I guess if I love her, I should let her go. I pick up another arrow and zing it through the tree. This is a depressing conversation

"Its tough but she'll thank you in the long run." I told him. I didn't have to deal with turning someone I loved, I had to deal with being turned. "I understand you two love each other and all that but thats like the epitome of a serious commitment."

I chuckle. Yeah, I'd say so. Eternal commitment. I throw another arrow through the tree. So what about your love life, Ty? How're things going? I know he's been having issues between Caroline and that Haley girl.

"Why are you always so interested in my love life?" I asked him. Its not that I didn't mind or anything, its just that was like the second time he asked me. "Oh wait do we have a secret gay thing going on?" I joked.

I smirk. You didn't know? What the hell do you think we've been doing this whole time/ I joke back. I really am not interested in his love life; more in his life in general. He rarely ever talks about himself.

"Well I'm flattered Luke." I smirked and took a sip of my beer. "Though I don't think Erin is going to be too happy with it. What ever will we do with this secret relationship of ours?" Luke and I must be real good friends to joke like this. I never even did it with Matt.

I laugh. Oh I don't know; I think Erin will understand. I mean, we're both really hot guys. How can we resist each other? I grin. I'm glad I met Tyler. He's a funny guy. I haven't actually laughed in a long time.

"Oh see now you have me blushing." I said and then bust out laughing. To actually have a conversation like this with another dude was weird but I had to admit Luke and I were funny. "Dude we're idiots." I laughed.

I laugh. No shit, bro. This is the most fun I've had in months. This is hilarious.

"Good times, good times." I said and threw him a beer. I guess I can kind of admit Luke is like my best friend since Matt and I seemed to have grown apart and I missed hanging out with a dude, I was usually with Ravyn or Liz. "So besides Erin, what else is going on in your epic immortal life?" I asked. I knew his life like just about everyone elses wasn't all that epic.

I sigh. Well, Casper's being heavily effected by this whole hunter's curse thing. He's a complete asshole. I shake my head. Alex and him are pretty involved right now. I'd be careful, Ty. I don't think Casper's good for Alex. Casper's dangerous.

I was taking a drink of my beer when Luke told me about Casper and a Hunter's curse, but when he said Casper and Alex were together I almost spit my beer out of my mouth. "What?" I asked disbelieved. "Casper and Alex are together?" Oh no, oh hell no.

I sigh. Dude I'm not sure what's going on. They spend a lot of time together. I'm pretty sure I've heard a few I love yous from them. Warn Alex to stay away from Casper. I'll take care of Casper.

I ran my hand through my hair and groaned. I didn't want my cousin dating a guy like that, the one time I met Casper I didn't like him, even though I offered to help him break his sire bond I still didn't like him. "Yea I'll talk to her." I said. I felt stupid. I should be watching out for my little cousin.

I shake my head. I don't get what she sees in him. I know he's my brother and all, but he's kinda a major asshole. He treats her well, I promise you that. He's just not good for her. I don't like them together. I care about Alex like a sister. I don't want her to get hurt.

"Dude I know hes your brother but I just don't like him at all." I said. I'm glad Luke was looking out for Alex because I wasn't doing a very good job at it.

I nod. Neither do I. He's exactly like our father. I down the rest of my beer. He's not a good guy.

"Then that is even more of a reason for him to stay away from her." I said. I should be more involved with Alex, I mean she is my only family left. I looked up at Luke. "Thanks for looking out for her man." I told him.
