I smirk and sit back down. I wrap an arm around her shoulders and she leans into me as she reads. Good, because I like distracting you. I say and kiss her temple.

"i know that you like it. Because you do it every time", I say and go to the next page. I sigh and smile. Suddenly I see something that looks familiar. "Do you see this? This text right here?", I ask and look at the latin text that is written there. "My dad had this always with him. I realized it later on. I didn't know what it was." I look back to Luke.

I nod. Why do you think he carried it?

I shrug. "I don't know. But he never left the house without it. As if it was not safe to leave it somewhere. Do you think it is important for the cure?" I look up to him and back to the words. I unfortunately did not learn latin in school. I decided to take other languages.

I read through it. It's a protection spell. I smile softly. Its a spell to transport your father to you if you were under duress. That's why he always carried it with him. I say.

I look to Luke and then back to the book. "Wow, I didn't know you knew Latin", I say and grin at him. It's always great to get to know him better.

I smile at him as he talks in Russian to me. "I have no clue what you just said", I say ad laugh. E could say anything and I wouldn't know what it would mean. "Je t'aime", i day and laugh.

I smile at him. I'm quite good in French. "Quand je suis chez toi, la monde autour de nous est sillent", I reply and smile at him. It is true. It feels like the time stands still when I'm near him.

I smile and kiss him back. "That sounds good to me", I whisper. I have no problem with that. I just need him beside me then I feel fine. More than that.

I chuckle and let her turn back to the book. I'm content just to sit with her. I love her so incredibly much. I don't know where I'd be without her. She's everything to me. She's everything I've ever needed. I was too thick-skulled to see it.

I put the book away and look to Luke's side f the couch, where another pile of book is. "Hold on", I say and lean forward to his side. One of the books looks pretty old and like a journal. It is completely black, without anything on the cover.

I raise an eyebrow and squint at the writing. What do you think it is?

"A book f shadows? Anything like that I guess", I say as lean against him while I'm opening the book. "That's definitely not Latin", I say and look at the writing. It look pretty strange. "I think it's black magic", I say and look on the pictures of plants and symbols.

I look at it and raise an eyebrow. I speak a lot of languages, but witch isn't one of them. I normally avoid witchcraft.

I nod. "You're right. I can't understand it either. And magic is something I really don't want to eat involved in", I murmur and close it. "Do you see anything you would say is interesting?"

I raise an eyebrow. Besides you, no not particularly. I say and chuckle.

I roll my eyes and smile. "Thank you. But I actually meant the books", I say and kiss his cheek. Looks like we're done for today's research session.

I raise an eyebrow. Yes, well. I'm not exactly an expert in herbs and voodoo. I chuckle. My focus is no longer on the books. It's on her. Solely on her.

"How about we come back here later? Well you don't have to but I guess I will. Let us leave. I'm hungry again." I stand up and pull him to me.

I smile and kiss her. Of course I'll come back with you. I kiss her again and wrap my arms around her.

We leave the room together and nobody seems to realize that we went there and just came out. It's funny. We leave the store and walk down the street hand in hand. "Where are we going, Luke?", I ask and look to him.

I look at her as we walk. You tell me. I say and smile softly. I don't care where I am as long as she's there.
