Fallen (Erin/Lucas)

I unlock the front door and walk inside, hanging my jacket on the coat rack. I see a coffin on the coffee table. Erin doesn't turn as I come in. She just sits there on the couch staring at it. I walk up and kiss her cheek before sitting down with her. Who was that man who left the house? My question isn't accusatory; it's purely a question.

That was when I looked up at my husband. He wanted to know who that man was who had just brought his brother's coffin. "His name is Michael Felix. He is a...hunter, but he promised to not go after you for you have not given him a reason to go after you...He was here to deliver this coffin." I frowned as I knew that I was going to need to tell me husband soon about his brother being in that coffin before us on the coffee table.

I stand and open the coffin. I stand the lid up. I see Casper lying there. His face is ashen. He's dressed in a suit. I stare at his face for a few seconds before closing the lid. I walk to the fireplace and pour myself a glass of Jack. I take a long swallow before leaning against the mantle place and staring into the flames.

I knew I had to comfort Luke. Slowly I stood up and walked over to him as I the placed a hand onto his back and begun to rub it slowly up and down. No words were exchanged between us as all that was heard through out the house was Zeus whimpering at Luke's feet and the crackling of the wood in the burning fire. A frown was still upon my lips as my bright blue eyes looked up at him with sadness filling them greatly. I did not know if my husband was going to be upset by this or not. I dared to not speak.

My face remains blank, leaving no signs of emotion. Where. How. Why. When. I ask my wife. I'm not sure how I feel about my brothers death. Sad, slightly. Angry, slightly. I'm more numb than anything else.

My head rested upon his arm as I then sniffled. "Casper could not find a cure for the curse so it drove him mad as he told Michael to kill him. I am not sure where or when." I sniffled a bit as I then looked up at him with my blue eyes that still showed sadness. "I am so sorry Luke...so sorry."

Wordlessly I pick his coffin up and carry it outside to the back. I stack up a series of wood logs and set him on top. I grab a Match from inside and toss it on top. I stare as his body burns.

My eyes widen a bit as I watched the fire go up to burn the body. Slowly I stood besides my husband and grasped onto one of his hands and squeezed it a bit. My head leaned onto his arm and closed my eyes to hide my eyes from the burning body.

In that moment, I snap. I blur inside the house and into Casper's room, which overlooks the backyard. I throw open the window and tear the posters off the walls, tossing them down into the fire. I empty his wardrobe and toss the clothes into the fire. I throw all of his boxing medals and trophies into the fire. All that's left of his belongings is his leather jacket hanging on the bed. I lean against the window sill and sink to the ground. Hot tears stream down my face as I cry soundlessly. I hold my face in my hands.

In my human speed, I ran up towards where my husband was as he was throwing everything out of Casper's bedroom. I stood in the door way as I looked at him crying on the ground. The frown on my lips grew some more as I then walked up to knelt and knelt down in front of him. That was when I placed a hand onto his knee, rubbing it a bit slowly up and down. "I am here if you need to talk to someone Luke. I will always be here for you. I am sorry for the lost of your brother."

For the first time in my life, I lean on Erin for support. I let myself collapse on my back with my head in her lap. I shut my eyes as the tears make their way down my face.

My fingers slowly started to wipe the tears off of his cheeks as I kissed his forehead. I did not know what to do so I did the next best thing that I could think of doing. I started to hum down to my husband to calm him down.

I can't help but chuckle a bit. What? Have you never seen a marine cry? I can't help but laugh.

I frowned and shook my head at that moment and whispered, "You have never cried before me, ever." My hand ran through his hair in a soothing way as I then hummed some more down to him.

I sit up and lean against the wall. I pull her into my lap and just hold her in my arms. Thank you for saving my life. I know she knows what I mean. At least I think she does. I was broken and lost before I met her. I'm whole; just with a little gap now.

I blink my eyes as I then tilted my head to the side and whispered, "What do you mean?" I asked in a very shy voice as I then kiss his cheek very gently. One of my hands grabbed onto his other as I then rubbed his knuckles very gently.

I kiss her lips gently. I was broken before you found me. Now I'm whole. I shake my head. Well mostly whole, there's a bit of a gap now.

I smile a bit as I then said, "What is the gap Luke?" I stroke his cheeks as I then rubbed his cheeks some more at that moment and hummed a bit as I looked up into his gorgeous brown eyes once more. He was perfect in my eyes no matter what happened.

I press another kiss to her lips. Where Casper used to be. I slide my hand up her shirt and rub her back gently. I press another kiss to her lips.

That brought pain to my heart a bit at that moment as I could still see that the fire was blazing at that moment. My lips pecked his lips some more as I then said, "I am so sorry once again Luke."

I kiss her again and trace circles into her back as I grow lost in her eyes. Don't be. What's done is done. I kiss her lips gently.

I kiss him some more as I then pulled myself closer to my husband at that very moment right then. This was the man I was going to be with forever.

I kiss her lovingly and carefully stand. Her legs wrap around my waist as I walk us to our room. I sit down on the bed and kiss her deeply.

My legs stayed wrapped around him as I then licked upon his bottom lip at that moment as I moaned his name very softly at that very moment right then. He was wonderful.

I groan against her lips as I open my mouth for her. I kiss her deeply and run my hands up and down the length of her back. God I love you. I trace circles on her back as I pause to rip my shirt off.
