I sat the front of the bar, compelling the bar tender numerous times to get some drinks, and just mess with his head. I made him make retarded sounds while pouring other people's drinks just so I could get a laugh. I pulled out my phone, and started to text Evetta, but then I stopped, smelling a rather good blood type. I saw the source. It was a rather handsome man - blond hair, blue eyes ... My type of food. I walked over casually, and then turned him over to the corner. I immediately compelled him and said, "Don't scream, or I'll make you into a basketball," and easily, sinked my growing fangs into his juicy throat, enjoying my new meal.

I've been watching a vampire compel the bartender for the past hour or so. I've been sitting in the corner for a while now. She looks about 19. Either she hasn't noticed me or she just doesn't care. I watch as she compels a man to follow her into the corner. She starts feeding. I smirk. I wish Kendall was here. We'd have fun with this girl. I'm always in the mood to make new friends. I call the bartender over and ask him to send a wet towel and a vodka tonic over to her. I shake my head and take a long swallow of my Jack. This girl could be a good friend to have.

I stop, sensing someone behind me, so I turn, making my older meal fall to the floor. I smrik at the bartender and took the towel from him, wiping the blood off of my face. "Why thank you," I said, throwing the towel on the ground, and pulling the bartender in, clamping my canines onto his neck.

I shake my head as she takes the towel, wipes her face and precedes to bite the bartender. A man in police uniform approaches. I hybrid speed over and watch as his eyes dilate as my eyes narrow into compulsion-mode. I take note of his wedding ring and the woman trailing behind him. There is no problem here, officer. You have not seen any strange behavior tonight. You will forget all that you've seen. Go home to your wife and tell her that you've been cheating on her. I watch as he turns and walks out the door, leaving the prostitute staring confused. I give her a harsh look and she leaves. I take a seat on the barstool by the vampire. Careful or you'll attract more unwanted visitors, like me. I smirk.

I cocked my head up, looking at the Hybrid. He was the one I saw at the park, I thought. "Isn't that the whole point, though? We are hunters - we feed, we prey, and kill. Isn't that what we creatures of the night do?" I said, being theatrical, and then burst out laughing. "We can get what we want when we want it right?" I asked the Hybrid.

I shrug, tilting my head from side to side. Depends I guess. What we can do, what we need to do, and what we want to do. I look her in the eye. You're right. We, creatures of the night, can do whatever the hell we want. We're limitless. We're the most powerful creatures on the planet. I guess it's what you choose to do with that power. I think I got the "hunter" in me out of my system in Afghanistan. I shake my head and take a sip of my Jack. I don't know; I don't feel the need to kill anymore. I don't have many vampire friends, so I don't know the extent of your hunger, but maybe it's just me, or maybe it's all hybrids. I just don't feel the need to feed. Most of the time anyway. I turn to look her in the eyes again. But don't get my wrong, I can be quite the hunter when I want to be.
