Being Wild Maxine|James

I was at a Party that a group of Teenagers at the school decided to throw. They said that it was in the forest, and I'm friends with most of them ... But too bad they are dead. I drank all thirty of them, with the Music of the Amps blaring in the background. I texted twenty more friends to come to the party to have some "Fun". "Nothing, can possibly go wrong," I said with a smile, while taking a bite out of this one guy's heart that I ripped out from his chest. The sweet red rose liquid kept pouring down my throat.

James didn't know why, but almost every night, he would find himself out in the forest, wandering around aimlessly, and would always end up at the spot where he had completed his transition. The blood bag had been discarded - covered up by leaves that lay on top of it. The hose which the blood came out of could be seen sticking an inch above the leaves, into the air.

He knelt down to it, and placed both of his arms on top of his thighs. The blood bag - it seemed like so long ago that it happened, like another lifetime ago. A hand was outstretched to it and lifted the empty bag into the air and shook free of the leaves. Of course, the blood was all gone, James figured out silently to himself. Running a hand through his spiked-up hair, he turned his head at the sound of a song blaring in the distance.

"Hmph, a party." He stated blatantly while dropping the blood bag back into the leaves, not even bothering to cover it back up while he took several steps toward the direction of the music. James' eyes moved slowly back and fourth, with the smell of blood to his nose came the sight of death and decay.

His legs moved without even a thought from his mind toward the area where the smell originated from. There was a girl, about his age (he guessed) and had blood around her mouth, along with at least a dozen bodies littering the ground around where she stood. The smell of blood was overwhelming, even though he had just eaten prior to coming to the forest. James watched her, with each movement, she must have been a newbie - he thought silently to himself as he watched.

"Hey!" He shouted.

I almost literally jumped when I heard a man's voice, and damn he actually looked hot and he's a Vampire .... sadly. I sighed and threw the heart to the ground. "Hello, and I'd compel you if you were Human right now," I mumbled, hiding the anger and irritation in my voice with a forced bright smile. Why is it the hot ones who don't know how to have fun? I thought kind of annoyed. "Okay, let's skip over the awkwardness and just get to the bullshit part," I spat, using my speed to turn off the Truck, stopping the blaring music.

James stood there, one hand in his pocket, the other behind his head rubbing the back of the neck. His head dropped to the ground at the remark about compulsion and then it was shaken lazily from side to side; his eyes traveling back up toward her face (while his head stayed drooped) "To do that, you would need to be an original." James stated to her, not bothering to follow her with his eyes when she walked to turn off the music.

"I agree" He said, and straightened his posture as if he were greeting an Original, instead of a newbie. He proceeded to walk toward her, careful not to step on any of the bodies that lay on the ground as if there was a path of destruction that had swept across the forest area. The reactions to the scent of blood were obvious on his face, he was trying to fight the urge to feed. "What the hell are you doing?" James questioned, continuing to walk toward her.

I just smiled as the man said Original. "Well, You don't have to worry about Kol and them. They aren't here ... even though I would be honored to hunt with them I sighed and gave the man a fake smile.Well, it's obvious that I'm having Dinner," I said, like he should know and it not being a bad thing. "What the hell are you doing here?" I asked, now facing him. "I'm guessing you were spying on me while I was eating?" I asked, not really having a polite tone in my voice.

I sighed again, and then said, "Okay, if you don't mind me asking, who the fuck are you?" I asked, flashing more of my bitchiness. "It's rather rude to drop in on someone while they are having a party, and last time I checked, I don't think I invited other Vamps to come drink with me ... but if you want to, more are coming." I said, giving him somewhat of a real smile this time.

James stopped where he was, only a few feet in front of the female vampire. Was she serious? Hunting with Originals is not a very good thing, unless she was just a new vamp. "That is always good news, I can't seem to stand them." He replied, taking another step, slowly toward her again. "What am I doing here?" He mimicked the question, "I smelt blood, came to check it out. But by the way you are acting, you must be a new" The distaste must have still been existent in his mouth, only once had he ever drank directly from the vein, and that was right after he completed the transition, and he knew how great it felt to have fresh, instead of refrigerated blood bags all the time. "Spying? Now why would a vampire need to spy?" James asked, and took another step. The veins around his eyes began to show, as he could feel his fangs elongating out of his gums.

"Me?" He asked again, then looked down to a body near him, stomach seemed to be ripped open. "A Vampire, that is all that there really is to say." He noted. "You're going to make us be outted to the council if you keep this up." James exclaimed, "You do know who they are, don't you?"

I sighed and said, "Yes, I'm new. I was created by that bastard, David Crow. I'm glad Kol killed him. I know I couldn't kill him, since I was a baby Vamp, so I had Kol kill him," I said, picking a dead body up from my feet. I dashed back over to him with the body in hand. I heard the distaste in his voice from his comment on me being a newbie. "Obviously, you hate other Vampires, but why? You're one too, are you not?" I questioned, giving a the limp body in my hand a bite.
