Bonfire of the Millennium

Bonnie felt arms go around her "Yeah I am fine James." she said a bit too calmly. She was not even sure if he knew what was happening. Please be drunk. She prayed.

He glanced down at bonnie as she replied to him. "That is good, but how the hell did a car get ontop of the Bonfire?" He asked her. honestly not knowing what happened, from the car to the flames dieing down.

She was not even sure what to tell him "I don't know." she said in a monotone voice. She turned but the rest of her friends were talking to each other.

He, too looked around the area to see people talking, but the reason seemed a mystery. Bonnie looked like she knew more then she was letting on, but James didn't want to ruin that night with any questions or acusations so he decided to let Bonnie somewhat-enjoy the evening, or rather, enjoy however much she could after the car ended up on the fire.

I looked into his eyes. I knew what happened to Caroline's dad. It was an accident. "If you ever need help or need to talk to someone, I'll be one call away. I mean it's not like I have much to do. Everyone wants me to believe your bad and can't be trusted because of the bond, but I can trust you. I know you can break it." I told him giving his hand and gently, reassuring squeeze.

Sophia watched the whole thing play out between Stephan and Damon. She was sure that none of the others knew anything. She watched the fire die down and knew that it was Bonnie that did it. Bonnie was a witch like Sophia's grandmother so she would have some powers to be able to calm the fire. Damon on the other hand looked pissed beyond believe. Sophia made sure to stay out of the feuding brothers way. She didn't want to be caught in the middle of that. She thought that maybe someone would calm them down. She didn't want this ruining everyone's night. She continued watching people to see their reactions. She was sure Elizabeth wasn't with the group anymore due to the fact that she didn't see her. Sophia got up to get her another drink before settling back down in her spot.

Given the fact Skye was in her own little world, looking for Val, she completely didn't notice the apparent brawl going on on the other side of the bon fire, until some psycho path (s) threw a friggen car into the fire. "...The fuck?!" She would yell, and spasm, as a reflex to the commotion. She peered over to some girl, who was watching the fire, yet also looking in her own worldish, "...Do you know why that car is in the fire?" She asked, surprised at all the drama for what looked like it was supposed to be a fun party.

The truth? Elena was hunched over on a log for the most part of the bonfire, but when she heard somewhat bickering, she was irratated. Even more so, when she heard a friggen car get heaved into the already mega enormous fire. Elena quickly wobbled over the commotion and asked a girl what was going on. "Um...girls...pearls...oh right, why is there a car in front of me ready to explode?" The girl looked at her funny, then responded, "What? Have you been hunched over a log or something...?" "...Pretty much." "Oh...well Stefan apperently did something to Damon's "notes," or whatever, and his seemingly endless panty collection." "Oh, yeah! I heard the rumors...are there like one th..." "SHUTUP..."

[For the first paragraph, ELENA'S dialouge is in white.]

Elena wobbled over and grabbed Damon's arm as she went to a loud, but not as loud as before, area. "The fuck do you think you're doing? When one is aggatated, one doesn't throw a bumblebee car in the fire!" She asked. "Look at you!" She said, referencing to his seemingly impossible good looks. "You don't need to be mad Stefan wrecked your panties! ...You can get 30 panties in the next 15 minutes if you tried. Here..." She ran behind a tree and came out a minute later with her awkwardly small thong. "I'll make the first donation..." She said, dropping it on his shoulder.

Jeremy took a look down at his drink it was only his third or fourth he thought, but maybe he was more buzzed than he realized since he thought he saw Damon throw a car into the fire. But it couldn't have been, maybe they just drove it in and got out quick he thought. He was too fixiated on his thoughts to hear anyone around him, finally he concluded that the car somehow rolled into the fire.

He looked around, there were a few more people that had showed up that he didn't know, and some others that he did. He wondered if Elizabeth was still in the woods with Tyler. He saw Bonnie and James together, and it felt like a blow to the gut, but what could he do. He quickly looked away only to see Elena holding up what appeared to be her underwear, and he quickly looked away again taking another drink. He needed to be a little more drunk than he was now by the way things were going.

He sighed and allowed Elena to drag him away. He knew what she was going to say, but no one understood. "You think this is about some panties?" He said shaking his head in disbelief. "You really think i'd be that sad to fuss about that Elena? And you thought you knew me."

"I need those lists Elena! Those lists are the only thing keeping me sane! They were stopping me from killing everyone at this... you call this a party?" He said pointing to the side of his head, looking slightly insane.

He sighed and pulled the panties off his shoulder. "Just don't blame me if i go off the rails."

Elena snatched her underwear back as Damon pulled it off his shoulder. "I'm going to shove this down your throat." She said, with no purpose and just for the thrill of it. "Oh, where was I?" She asked herself, confused about what she and Damon were talking about. Oh, right. The fire and the notes. Or list? "Oh, that's right. Meme, or CeCe, don't ask me to remember, told me about the undies and the notes. Are these...lists...the notes? What are they even of?"

He slowly gritted his teeth and looked just above her head as he calmed himself. "Those lists, listed every person i have ever killed. It had every single detail from each kill and it reminded me not to be the guy i once was. They helped me stay human." He said taking a deep breath.

"Now there's nothing to stop me!"

I huffed as I saw Damon thoroughly explaining the reasoning behind his crazy lists. What was the deal with those anyway? They're just pieces of paper after all.

I sighed before walking over to my car which was now slowly burning, "Great, another car wrecked."

Everyone around me were either having a good time, trying to strike up a conversation, or bored as hell. I was a part of the third party. Bored as hell, I just stood by the fire, slowly watching my car burn to a crisp.
The air reeked of gasoline and starter fluid, shrugging my shoulders I thought that nothing could happen.
A tiny click is all it took, the car exploded before anyone had time to react.

I looked up at him and stopped walking. I was up on my tip toes due to my short hiegt. I was going to kiss him on the cheeck when I heard it. I looked to where the bang came from and saw smoke. The trees were covered in ash and the colors of red and orange. "Oh my god!" I let go of his hand and ran back the way we came. Why did my mind go to Jeremy? I dont know but I continued to run.

It didnt seem like Tyler and I walked far from the bonfire. I saw an enormus fire and the remains of a car in it. "Is anyone hurt?!" I called out pulling my cheershirt down a bit.

Damon opened his mouth to say something else when he was cut off by an explosion. Without a seconds thought he moved and shielded Elena from harms way. "What the hell!" He said turning now it was safe to do so.

"That's why you should never get a new car! They are useless and more explodable!" He called to Stefan. "You okay?" He asked looking down at Elena in his arms.

Elena was ready, and willing to hear Damon say what he was going to say, as an excuse for sounding like Stefan, but all she heard from him was nothing. Because there was a type of explosion, that well...exploded, somewhere around the Bonfire area. Either that, or it WAS the fire. Which probably would have been brought on by the DAMN CAR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FIRE.

Elena was passed out for a quick minute and was under a little bit out debris and basically had a black face now, as there were logs shatterings and tree parts every where now. The fire seemed to have destroyed everything. Elena was then, awoken by someone helping her out. She was just too weak to say anything.

When she was just strong enough to open her eyes, she could see Damon. He was asking if she was okay. Her vision was blurry and her speech would definitely crack, but she managed to whisper out, "...". Which turned out just be a moan. "What happened?" She asked, confused upon her surroundings. There was almost nothingness.

Bonnie was standing next to James and talking to him when all of a sudden she heard a faint a distinct noise and turned and looked at the fire just as it exploded. Everything seemed to happen in slow motion she turned to James and pushed him out of the way with her powers then she felt a blazing pain in her skull and felt herself fly a bit from the fire and hit the ground. She tried to get up but the pain got worse, then everything went black.

Black. Complete and utter black. At first, my mind immediately jumped to the conclusion that I was asleep or unconscious. Knocked unconscious being that close to the explosion? Doubt it. I tried to open my eyes, but found that no matter how many times I blinked, nothing came. I slowly brought my hands to my face, feeling everything. A sticky substance was plastered onto my face. Ash.
I continued feeling around, my nose, still intact, my hair, still intact, my eyes, still in-.
Suddenly it hit me like a load of bricks, my eyes were wide open, but I couldn't see anything. Completely black.
Shock rushed through me, then the power of fright came crashing down upon me.
I let out a scream that could send shivers down anyone's spine.

James thought that the events had passed for that night, or at least hoped they had so Bonnie could go back to enjoying her's and Elena's get together they planned out. But low and behold, another disaster had struck as the car that somehow landed on top of the fire had exploded, and James didn't have any time to react but somehow was shoved out of the way of the fire a good 20 or so feet before he landed on the hard dirt. "What the hell was that?" He asked himself aloud as he then looked to Bonnie who was still standing there as the explosion went off. "NO! Bonnie!" He yelled as he ran toward her, not caring about the flames that were in-front of him or the car. His hands then went under her head and propped it up, tears dripping down the front of his face onto Bonnie's cheeks.

I heard screaming. It was mixxed up. I heard one that sent shivers down my backbone. I knew whos it was. "Uncle Stefan!" I ran when figures had somewhat started to show again. I found him near the epicenter of the explosion. My hnads went around his shoulders, guiding him away from the still raging fire. "Stefan, its Eli. I got you. Are you ok? Is anything wromg? Wait where's." I turned my head around. "Jeremy! Jeremy, where are you?!" logs where people were once sitting on were now burning. i feared something happened to him, something really bad.

The next thing Jeremy knew he was lying on the ground. His first thought was where was his drink? But that thought quickly disappeared as he felt a sharp throbbing pain on the right side of his head. He could hear the others yelling and realized his ear was ringing. He wondered what exactly happened, it seemed everything was happening in slow motion.

He lifted his hand up to the side of his head and could feel it wet with blood. He sat up and looked around for Elena, seeing her with Damon he sighed with relief knowing she was ok from the looks of it. But that was all he could see, the smoke was heavy. He knew he needed to get up and away from the fire to fresh air. He slowly stood up, fighting the dizziness, and walked away from the fire. He was trying to figure out what to do when he heard Elizabeth calling his name, "Over here!" he called out,feeling a wave of pain at the sound of his voice.

I walked over to Jeremy with Stefan under one of my arms and then I helped Jeremy under my other. I called out for Tyler. "Tyler! We need help!" I walked the two I was rescuing to a place behind my car. I sat them down. I ran to my car door and opened it. I dug at the passenger seat floor and grabbed a bottle of water and an two old shirts. I ran back out. I weted one and cleaned the boys face while i applied pressure to Jeremy's bleeding head. "Where are you hurt at? Any broken bones? Both of you look at me. How many fingers am I holding up?" I said while holding up a peace sign.

Jeremy sat down and leaned against Elizabeth's car. It was slowly coming back to him, the car in the fire, and the brief moment of the explosion. His head was throbbing, and he was starting to wish he hadn't drank as much, because it was only making things worse.

He looked at Elizabeth who was holding a shirt to his head. "I'll be fine." He didn't think he was hurt badly anywhere else, although he knew he would be a little sore. He tried to concentrate on Elizabeth who was asking him how many fingers she was holding up. "Two." he said and put his hand up to the tshirt to hold it down so Elizabeth didn't have to.

I was sitting against what I believed was a car. When asked how many fingers the person was holding up, I replied, "I can't see anything! I can't see anything!"
There was another voice that started talking next to me, I believe that the person was male. My fingers kept touching my eyes, making sure that they were in fact still there. Sure enough, they were, but it was like a layer of ash was covering my eyes.

I sighed when Jeremy saw straight. I took my hand away from his head as he helf the cloth to it. Now I focused my time on Stefan. I soaked the other t-shirt in more water as I began to wipe the ash away from his eyes. "Uncle Stefan, Its Eli. I'm here to help you. How close were you to the fire?" I was no licenced medical tech, but I knew that if he looked into the fire while standing close to it, the flash could have blinded him. Maybe he needed blood. I went back in the car quickly to find my last bag of deer blood in the black sports bag in the back. I ran back to him and pushed the tube through his ips and into his mouth. "Stefan, drink. Maybe it will help."
