Surprise (Nic & Erin)

I sigh. I don't know. I run a run through my hair. We're young; we're not married. I want to be a father; I just don't know. I don't want to rush into marriage just because you're pregnant, but I also don't want our kid to have parents that aren't married. I shake my head. It's a lot for me to think about. I'm going to need to quit the military, because I certainly can't be active duty and have a kid. It's not fair to him or her. I sigh. I'm ready to be a father. I'm just not sure I'm ready for the complications. I meet her eyes.

I frown as I then looked up at him a bit as I then touched his cheeks. "Nic, I do not want you to quit something that you love. Stay in the military. If needed, we can put the child up for adoption. I want you to be happy." I pecked his lips a bit as I then sat back down in the chair. "I know that we are not ready for marriage. Heck, I am not even ready for marriage. And I agree with the last name thing. "

My eyes snap to hers. No. We aren't putting our child up for adoption. I won't throw away something that we created together. I take her hand in mine. I want to marry you, just not right now. I pause. In nine months, we'll have our kid, and we'll have been dating for about a year. We'll talk about marriage then, okay? No one's going to ask about our kid's parents when he can't even talk. I kiss her hand. Alright?

I blush as he kisses my hand as I then smile and nod my head. "Nicolas Sparks, I love you so much. You make me the happiest woman in the world. I do not know what I would do without you. I know that you and I will be a great mother and father to our little miracle child." I place a hand on my flat stomach and placed his hand on my flat stomach as well. Soon we were going to be the greatest parents in the whole world.

I smile and peck her lips. Yes we will. I let go of her hand and put the car in reverse. I drive us back to the house and get out. I open the car door for Erin before opening the front door. I let Erin step in first before closing it behind us. You should probably tell your brother.

I looked up at him with my wide blue eyes as my heart was beating quickly. Primo. How the hell was my brother going to take this. "I will. And you should tell your sister." Even though Katherine did not like me, I was carrying a member of her family now inside of me. I pulled out my phone as I then sighed a bit as I closed my eyes. Opening them slowly, I dialed Primo's number and hit call. Here goes nothing. I leaned onto his chest a bit as I listened to his heart beating in his chest.

I wrap an arm around Erin and wait for Primo to pick up. Knowing Katherine works at the hospital, she probably already knows. Sneaky little sister.

Primo didn't answer my phone call at all. He must of been mad at me for not moving in with him. A sigh escaped once more as I listened to his voicemail. After the beep went off, I left the message. "Hey Roman, it is Erin. Couldyou call me back once you get this message? I need to tell you something." After leaving that message, I hung up the phone and looked up at my boyfriend. I smiled a bit more at him as I then placed my hands on his cheeks gently, rubbing the slight scruff that was there.
