I plug my iPod into the speakers and start a party playlist. Thrift Shop starts playing. I look around the living room. Booze and chips are scattered around; now all that's left to do is wait for guests to arrive. Jon and Casper are upstairs getting ready; at least I think they are. I take a seat next to Erin on the couch and wrap my arm around her, giving her a kiss on the cheek. You ready to have some fun? This should be a good night. I'm glad Jon and Casper convinced me to do this.

I smiled kindly at my boyfriend as I then crawled onto his lap and sat there. One of my hands rested onto his chest as I begun to rub his perfectly sculpted chest. "What is the occasion of this party Luke?" I asked him as I looked up into his dark blue eyes and smiled some more at him. I then pecked his lips very gently.

I smile. The occasion is that Casper and Jon want to have a party, and I don't trust them throwing a party without me in the house. Plus, it's an excuse to dance with you. I kiss her lips gently, wrapping my arms around you.

I smile and giggle as I then pull back form the kiss and say, "You need to make sure I do not fall while we dance. You know how terrible I am at dancing." I then laughed a bit as I then looked into his deep brown eyes and smiled at that moment and kissed his lips very gently at that moment.

I smile and kiss her, leaning close and putting my lips to her ear. I'll never let you fall, remember? I press a kiss to her neck before leaning back against the couch, pulling her with me. I honestly am not looking forward to this party. I'm hoping that Damon and Stefan will stop by, give me more friends to talk to other than Cass and Jon's high school buddies.

I stayed very close to Luke as I then laid my head over where his heart was and sighed very happily. This was a moment I could of only dreamt about when I was a little girl. Being madly in love with someone. "Who is all coming to this party tonight?" I asked him as I then turned my head up to look at him at that moment.

I kiss the top of her head. High schoolers I guess. Don't worry; Sergiy won't be here. Casper and Jon don't like him. I wouldn't know which high schoolers; I'm old remember? I smirk. It is kinda funny that I'm dating a girl that can't legally drink yet, but from the way she talks....and well.. acts she could be 23. I've never really felt this happy before. It's like nothing can take me down.

I shove him playfully as he called himself old and giggled at that moment. "You are not that old. You are perfect to me no matter what." I smiled and then held one of his hands and squeezed it very gently. Even though I was 19, I did not care that he was older than me. "How old are you really Lukie?"

I smirk. 23. I brush the hair from her face preparing for a slap. I know that she loves me; I love her too. I just don't want her to be freaked out that she's dating an older guy. I graduate high school when I was 16; graduated college when I was 20 and spent the rest of my life in the Marines until now. I don't want to scare her away. She's not even dating one of those "college guys." She's dating a college graduate. I guess I'm not the age of a normal college graduate but I don't want to be a pedophile.

I smile and curl up to him some more. "I still love you." I replied as I then rubbed his chest as we still waited for the party guest to arrive. I was not looking forward to seeing some of the high schoolers again, but I would put up to it for I wanted to be here with Luke during this party. I knew he didn't really want this party, but we could not leave Jon nor Casper here alone with a house full of humans and other creatures of the night.

I walk up to the Reid estate to the party. Hmm my first high school party, other than just compelling some humans at the bar to give me some beer, try actually give it to me. Rumor has it, the Reid's are vampires. I guess there is only one way to find out. I knock on the door. I pat down the mini dress Aldo, my brother, gave me. He would be furious if he found out I am too a party. As far as he knows, I'm at the library studying for the pop quiz in algebra 1.

I stand and open the door to find Sasha standing there. I step aside. Come on in Sasha. Casper and Jon are still getting ready, but you might know Erin from school. This should be interesting.

I stood up quickly and looked at who was now at the party. My head was bowed as I did not know if this person was human, werewolf, vampire, or even a hybrid just like Luke was. I bit my lip as I waited.

I had pushed my hair up "Hello Lucas. Can I call you luke? Ok hello luke. Thanks for inviting me. I am dying for a real party. I would be so dead if my big bro Aldotovian would have found me but that's another story" I wink at him and I look behind him. I walk over to her . I say in a rough Russian accent "I am Sacha Minerva Marköva. My friends call me Sasha Marköv. You are?" I ask. I expect her to be his girlfriend. I could see them getting all wuvy duvy. I have no interest in Lucas. I just want to know as many people as possible.

I stand besides Erin, wrapping an arm around her. This Sasha person is slightly obnoxious. Who introduces themselves by their entire name? I don't care what your middle name is. Frankly, your last name is irrelevant unless I really like you, which I don't. I'm not a fan of impertinent information.

I leaned onto Luke and then said in a soft voice, "My name is Erin. It is nice to meet you Sasha." I kept very close to Luke as I had no clue as to what in the world she was. She could of been a vampire or something else. I could tell she was not human though. It was a feeling deep down inside of my chest.

"Well hello Erin." I say as I grab a bottle of beer out of the fridge and sits down and drinks "Can I have a drink? Yes? Thanks." I say as I gulp. I like to get straight to the point by answering for people. Saves ALOT of time. "When are the guests getting here. I'm starv..... I mean I can't wait to have fun!" I say as I put the drink down on the coffee table.

I smirk. This girl is annoying me already. I stand behind Erin as she sits back down on the sofa. The guests will get here whenever they decide to. Ms. Markov, do me a favor and don't eat my guests. I give her a knowing look. We're hybrids not vampires; we don't feed people for the fun of it. I smirk My house, my rules. Fair enough?

One week and he would be 28 and look old enough to actually BE twenty-eight. This was his last chance to get in some fun before having to be an adult adult in his new town. Hybrids could usually function like normal people and he wouldn't mind that in the least bit, until he was being hunted again by his fat-- no he wouldn't think about him. He stepped up on the porch and rapped a finger on the door before reaching back and pulling his collar up around his neck. The worn old style black leather jacket wasn't so much appealing to many women, which was fine, he wasn't in this life for them, just more a survival thing for himself. He strained his ears to hear if anyone was coming to the door, he could hear music from inside the house and hear voices but that was about it. He put his hands inside his coat again and felt the hard stones he'd collected pressing into his knuckles. Things he collected along his travels, one stone for one home... so far he had twelve. Twelve homes since he had been 22 and now he was going to turn 28... what a life for a hybrid, running from their own fa-- no... not anymore...

I felt slightly nervous that she wanted to feed off of some human guest whenever they got there. I looked up at Luke nervous as I then bit my lip. For some off reason my heart started to race as I was becoming more and more nervous at that moment right then. I was shaking with so much fear.

I put my hands on her Erin's shoulder and give them a squeeze of reassurance before going to answer the door and opening it to an unfamiliar face. I'm sorry, have we met? You must be here for the party? He looks 22. He smells of a hybrid.

I give Erin a fiendish smile. I then twist my head to look back. "Hello Love, welcome to the party.." I say "If you excuse me. Ill be drowning myself in bud light." I walk and grab a 6 pack of bud lights from the fridge and goes out side.

I blink my eyes a bit as I then look down at my hands and played with my fingers as I was thinking more and more at that moment. What in the world was going to happen to this party anyways. I had no clue what to expect.

The party. So this was what it seemed. I guess Mystic Falls just didn't care, perfect place for hiding out. But what really got me was the vibe, the sense I got from this kid. My eyes narrowed as he spoke to me and I couldn't believe I stood in front of another Hybrid. Insane. I had only met one and that had been in Alaska. I was no where near Alaska now and this kid... I cleared my throat and started talking "No. No not here for the party. I just got into town here and you're the first place I found with anything to resemble life, is this a ghost town or something?" I spoke clearly and then another voice broke out and a girl walked past me. My back straightened and I watched her grab beer. A Vampire if I wasn't mistaken. I instantly felt my blood begin to boil. What the hell kind of town did I wander into? "I'm sorry, forgive me for being so blunt but what the hell" and I signaled to the girl who grabbed the beer. "Is that?" I couldn't help it. My instinct was to not like someone like her, my father had told me so for years, although he told me to also never kill anyone and look where that got me. "What is this place?" I was asking more then my fare share for a newcomer but I had to know, because no matter what was going on, I couldn't help but feel drawn to this place...

I clear my throat and shake my head, steppiing aside for him. Mystic Falls is a supernatural magnet. I'm a hybrid, the Russian bitch in there is a vampire, and the human is my girlfriend. Mystic Falls is multi-species oriented. This isn't really my party. It's my brothers', but I trust them with nothing, so I'm here. You're welcome to stay. My voice is friendly-enough but my eyes bore into his. I will not be questioned or attacked in my town and my house.
