Brave New World(?)

I hugged Eric back as I then started to cry once more as I held on tightly to him at that very moment. I was becoming weak in front of Eric for the first time. This was a rare sight for anyone to see I was usually not weak at all in front of people as I did not want people to see this side of me. The weak, pathetic side of me. This was the side of me I was scared of showing to anyone. "W-W-Who?" I stuttered out to him at that moment as I then pulled myself closer to him then.

"You're squeezing him right now, so he can't breathe." I started laughing and looked down to her. Her face was wet because of the tears she had cried. I wiped them away.
"Who did this to you?", I whispered and glanced at her.

My bottom lip quivered as I then slowly let go of him at that moment and whispered, "The first cause of my troubles is my real brother....Emmett. I do not consider him my brother any more. Not after what had all happened to me in my past. He blames me for everything." I looked at my true friend as my bottom lip quivered at that moment right then.

I shook my head, not understanding why some people were so cruel.
"Believe me, sometimes it's the best to delete people like that completely out of your life. My parents for example. They don't want me near them anymore, so I decided to go to a college which is far away."
I poured some lemonade into some glasses and put them on the dark brown tray.
"Sometimes there is no other way than moving on."
I tried to smile at her as I said: "I'll be right back. I have to give those students their drinks."

I smiled at him and nodded as I then started to wipe down the counters at that moment. "I will be right here when you get back." My blue eyes were now on the counters of the bar as I then started to hum to myself at that moment. I knew then that Eric was my best friend and nothing would change that.

I came back to the bar and put the tray back to its place. Then I stood next to Erin started cleaning some wine glasses.
"Maybe you should take a break. I mean a day off or something, to make things clear. I think that would be the best thing right now."

I wipe my eyes as I then say, "I think I might just hang out with my brother, Luke, for a bit. You know him...right? He comes in sometimes and has a drink to calm himself. He usually comes here to talk about his girlfriend Kendall." I then sigh. "I am sorry I am talking so much...."

"It's fine, really", I said and thought about what she said. Yeah, I knew Luke. If it was the guy who came here and told me that he was a hybrid. Did she know about it? She wasn't one I definitely knew that.
"Luke is your brother? He was here once hen I worked at night. We talked a little bit about random stuff."

I looked up at him. I knew he knew about Luke. "And you know his little secret." I smiled to show that it was okay. I knew about it before I even moved in with him. "And he is not my real brother. I just call him that actually."

Yes I knew Luke's "secret".
"So did he told you about me?" I was nervous. I didn't know why, but the last time somebody knew that I was a werewolf.... It ended pretty bad. But I was sure that Erin wouldn't act that way. Somehow something told me she wouldn't be like that. Back to work now, I said to myself when I turned away from Erin and started putting new bottles of jack Daniels and other alcoholic stuff into the shelves.

Gently and slowly I placed a hand onto his shoulder and whispered, "I do know what you are Eric, and I do not care. You are still Eric to me and you are forever going to be my friend." A smile spread on my lips at that moment as I then hugged him around his neck at that moment and whispered, "Your secret is very safe with me."

"Thanks Erin, that means a lot to me", I said. But she didn't knew my darkest secret. My deter about what happened to Sebastian. And I had the feeling that if I would tell her....
I couldn't. It was way too much.

I then notice a look in his eyes that looked very distant. "Tell me what is wrong Eric, or else I will get it out of you, but please tell me. I want to be here to help you. You have helped me through a whole lot." I smiled kindly and gently up at my friend.
