Save Me (Erin/Luke)

Emmett simply spit on Luke again as he then glared some more down at him. He was not going to give up so easily. That was not in his nature. I was still shaking as I then hugged a pillow close to my body at that moment. My sniffles sounded dreadful to me as I looked down at the ground.

I pull him up by his neck and land a solid uppercut to his jaw, snapping his head back. That headache should last him a week or two. Get out of my house. Don't ever come here again. Don't ever touch her again, do you understand me? If you come here again, I will kill you. I will literally send you to your grave. Do you understand me?

Emmett stood up, holding his jaw at the monster. "What the fuck are you?" Emmett said with his eyes wide. This was the first time Emmett showed a bit of fear towards the hybrid. I could easily hear the punch that Luke threw at my brother. It actually made me feel better. It made me feel like justice was finally being served. Even though I was still shaking and crying, I felt like the world was finally going back to normal at that moment. My face hid into the pillow as I tried to listen back downstairs. Emmett yelled this time, "Tell me what the fuck you are!"

I smirk at him. I'm a Marine. Get the hell out right now. I hit the guy with human strength. Idiot just isn't used to being put in his place.

Emmett ran out of the house and ran down the road, still drunk as he was stumbling a bit at that moment. I was crying softly into the pillow as I listened for any other sounds of my real brother. Wait, I shouldn't even call him my brother. I will now call him...Emmett. Luke was more of a brother to me than anybody else. My body shook more as I whimpered slightly then.

I shake my head as he runs. I close the door behind him and call out to Erin. He's gone Erin, and he's never coming back. I walk to the doorframe by the kitchen and do what all Marines do when they need to think. I start doing two fingered pull-ups.

I heard Luke's voice and slowly crawled out from under the bed. Some make-up was running down my face as I kept hugging the pillow. Slowly I walked out of my room and started to walk down the stairs towards the kitchen. I must of looked like a small child as I stood behind the pillow. Sniffles still escaped from me as well as tears. "T-T-Thank y-y-you."

Without pausing my pull ups I speak. Don't mention. Seriously, don't. I continue doing my pull-ups allowing my abs to tighten every time I go up and release every time I go down. I drop down and roll my shoulders. Listen Erin, get some sleep. Today was a long day and tomorrow will be longer. You need your rest.

I walked up and hugged Luke at that moment, dropping my pillow on the way at that moment. "G-Good n-night Lukie." I stuttered as I then kept hugging him and let my knees shake a bit. In this moment it was okay to show my fear that ran through my body after all that happened the day before and today.

I hug her tight to me, allowing her to lean on me for full support. Good night, Erin. Today is just another day in a long line of days. I give her a weak smile and walk away. I stop before I reach my stairway. I look back over my shoulder at her. It'll be okay, Erin. I promise. Without waiting for a respond I ascent to my wing of the house.

I come into lucas's room while he is laying down.
"You should have killed the human, he was drinking so his blood would have been real tasty for someone like you, luke. Your too nice anyway and whats this thing you got with this human does Kendal know, because if its between you having feelings for a human or a supernatural then i suggest you choose the supernatural" I say as i walk around the room looking at his stuff. I have never been in his room before so it was interesting to see the things he liked.
"So your mark is driving you mad, correct kinda heard you talking to yourself, what is it like my hunters curse, trying to drive you to kill yourself" I say looking down at my mark, its helping keep the spirits at bay but every now and again i'll hallucinate or have visions that aren't there, can't count the amount of times i tried to stake myself.
I sit down on his chair at the opposite end of the room, a human here wow never thought i'd see the day so soon unless we were having a part or a feast.

I sigh. As much as she says she hates her brother, she'd still be crushed if I killed him, and I don't like her that way. For one thing, she's 19 years old and too young for me, and another, I'm in love with Kendall. I love Kendall. It's established that Erin and I are like brother and sister. She doesn't feel that way about me. I shake my head. The mark compells me to kill others more than myself. I'm controlling it well enough though. I watch as he stops by my rack of military medals.

"Really, a military man who doesn't want to kill others a bit redundant don't you think since killing is not only in your nature its what you use to be trained for as a living, i mean i was a college student and a boxer, knocking people out and homework was my worries, you...hahaha...you got medals for what the art of murder and skill of bravery" I say to him as it was in a vampires nature to kill, and something he was already use to doing and now he wanted to be mr. high road.
"Where was this compassion when you killed our father, Lucas ... its in your nature to kill you look at that mark as a curse i think it just unleashes the real you...., watch big brother i'll show you" at the end of that sentence i blurr to where Erin is sleeping knowing Lucas would follow.

I run after him. What the hell are you doing? I didn't kill my father! I got medals for bravery. They weren't rewarding me for killing. I didn't join the military to kill. I'm a Marine because I wanted to serve my country and my family. I didn't kill our father! I killed my mother. The curse releases the darker part of me. I'm not a monster.

"Bullshit, your a monster i'm a monster this family or well lets just say you wouldn't be cursed if this family was angels don't you think. You wanted to serve your country and the men that died in war what were they doing SERVING THEIR COUNTRY" I say as i grab Erin waking her but using my strength to keep her still.
"Shhh!!! nice to meet you i'm Casper" I say to her, as i trail my fingers down alongside her neck. I'm positioned behind her, it what would look like a very provocative pose but i look at Lucas now.

"He wanted to kill your brother, He wanted nothing more then to snap his neck or rip his heart from his chest, bleed him dry.....this is what it means to be a hybrid, no matter what humans are always prey who's lives depends on us allowing them to live....I put my hands around her waist.
"So he see's you as a little sister...hmm does that make this a family quarrel" I ask

My eyes were wide as I did not know what to say. The fact that I then heard the truth did scare me a bit, but deep down I knew all of that in my heart. Slowly my eyes looked down at the bed as I then saw he was touching me by my waist. "My name is Erin..." was all I could possibly whisper at that moment. "I knew he wanted to kill Emmett....Emmett was a monster." I did not know why I was saying this to Casper as he held me inhis tight embrace. My breath shorten then as I looked up to see if Luke was there.

I look at her..."What is this too intimate Erin, i could compel you if you like and you wont' remember this whole encounter, but this is what it means to be like us. The true nature of a hybrid...I could kill Emmet if you like, hunt him down in minutes ..." I say gripping her a little tighter.
"im not a bad guy, im just bad with a purpose when i need to be, don't get me wrong as some monster that slaughters people in groves im actually a pacifist...so tell me what do you want right now Erin, i do anything you ask that's within my power as a sign of good faith, what would you like to happen, either to Emmet or you, even right now" I say to her but i didn't want to drag her into this but the more Lucas plays human the worse it will be when he goes off the deep end

I grab Casper and throw him against the wall. Don't bring her into this, Casper. What the hell are you doing? This isn't you! No one ever said that werewolves or hybrids or whatever the hell else are killers. I'm not trying to be a human. I'm being me. I'm not a killer. I don't kill people just because I can. When I kill, I kill because it's necessary not because it's fun. That's not who I am Casper. This, what you're doing, this isn't you. Stop this bullshit. Now.

I was panting as my eyes were wide and I hugged myself by pulling my blankets closer to my small frame. My breath was short from being scared at that moment. Fear was running through me greatly as I then whispered, "Lukie...." I placed a hand over my mouth as I did not know how he was going to feel about me using his nickname in front of him at that moment. I am sure the two hybrids could hear my heart beating loudly at that moment. Nervously, I bit my lip then.

I push Lucas off of me with great force dropping him to the ground
"No one said that werewolves or hybrids are supposed to be killers, hell nature dictated that's what we are. Werewolves go berserk and murder anything in sight Vampires need blood to survive, hell being a hybrid just makes us more efficient killers." I blur in front of Erin
"Don't bring her into this why you don't want her to see what we really are a true hybrid, while you give her that act and restrain your true nature i embrace it dear brother" I speak all the while staring at Erin....
"Your very beautiful Erin, no need to be scared i can hear your heart beating but don't worry i won't kill you or harm you in any way you can come to me if you need me because i guarantee you that Lucas may not be the best person to keep you safe not with that mark."
I say then blurr out the room.

I sigh. I apologize for-for his behavior. I get down on my knees in front of her. I swear to you he's wrong. I won't hurt you. Ever. I promise. I won't. I've never felt this rage before. Casper-what the hell is the matter with him?

I nod at Luke as I then hugged him around his neck and started to shake a bit at that moment. Casper was utterly scary. He was fear. "Luke, I know you will not hurt me. I know you are much better than that." I smile up at my brotherly figure as I then said, "Why did he say all of that though? Was he just being a jerk or did he try to do something right then?"

I shake my head and hug her. I don't know, Erin. I don't get it. Normally he doesn't act like a complete jackass. It's probably the Hunter's Curse or something. I glance at the door. For now we'll leave him be, let him cool down. Listen, Erin I want you to avoid being alone with him right now, okay?

I nod my head as I then say, "I promise. I will stay by you or Stefan. I swear." I smile and then look down a bit as I then also look at the door. "How bad can he be alone? He didn't try anything then, but would he try to do anything to me Lukie?" I looked back up at my brother with my blue eyes.
