Kicking Back At School

I sat on one of the benches at school just waiting for third period to end. Now that I was a senior I had free periods, third and fifth were the ones I had to myself. It was great having an easier day of school. I sat back and just watched nature, sounds boring but it was niced to just chill out. I heard the sound of heels coming toward me but just ignored it, I didn't want to deal with anything or anybody. Right now it was Tyler Time.

My heels were clicking loudly on the ground and I continued to walk. It was good to be unstaked again. I had a serious bone to pick with my brother, but first I needed to get close to a certain Hybrid. Not to mention he's friends with Matt, who I have to admit I fancy. Even though he hates my guts. I got closer to Tyler so I decided it was good enough to make my presence known. "Oh Tyler..." I purred with my English accent seeping heavly into my words.

I didn't have to turn around to know who it was. I dropped my head and sighed. "Rebekah." I said and she walked over to me and sat down. "To what do I owe the pleasure?" I asked with sarcasm. When I first met Rebekah she was cool, and hot, but now she irritated me a little bit.

"Don't act like you aren't happy to see me." I said as I rolled my eyes and sat down. "Can't I talk to my new Favorite Hybrid." I said in a snarky tone and prolonged the word favorite as I looked at my nails. "I'm bored and you are just the person that can help me get unbored."

"I'm not the entertainment committee Rebekah, so I don't really care." I said. She was so annoying sometimes. I turned to her. "And sweet talk will get you no where." I told her. Rebekah was a sweet talker and kiss ass when she wanted something and I was in no mood to help out.

"We'll you might want to start caring Lockwood." I said in a snippy tone. "I haven't even tried to sweet talk you so don't flatter yourself, love." This was going nowhere, and fast. "I want revenge on Niklaus!" I said trying to get him to take the bait. I wanted Nik to pay for daggering me this last time. He wants to disown me fine but daggering me does not fly with me. I leaned closer to Tyler. "Plus i'm planning a surprise party for your favorite vampire. Thought you would like a say in what happens." I got up from my seat and started walking away.

"I have my own problems with your brother and I don't need your mess getting involved." I said. The fact Rebekah wanted to use me pissed me off, its like I'm the flunky for the Original family. "What are you talking about, surprise party?" I asked as she started to walk off. I hated to admit it but now she had my attention.

Blah, blah, blah. That's basically all I heard from him. Sooner or later he was going to come to me for help. I stopped walking and turned to look at him, with a smile on my face. "Didn't she tell you? I thought she tells you almost everything. Oh well guess I was wrong." Ray's birthday was coming up soon and she's hates surprise parties for it. Plus after her going all mental with the killing spree, then almost dying from Tyler's bite. She deceives to have a party. I started walking again.

Okay so I knew she was talking about Ray but what party? I debated on whether or not to follow after her but I wanted to know what she was talking about. "If your going to use Ray for an excuse then your alot more pathetic then I thought." I said and walked ahead of her with my backpack hanging off my left shoulder. I wanted to know what she was talking about but she didn't need to know that.

I rolled my eyes. It wasn't the first time someone decided to call be pathetic but it sure as hell won't be the last time. Only with Tyler I promised Ray that I wouldn't kill him. I was fine with letting him walk in front of me, didn't matter because I knew I sparked his interest with the subject. "For some reason she still fancies you even after you bit her. I don't understand why and neither does Elijah, but she does. I'm kind of suprised that she didn't mention to you that her birthday was coming up." I smirked and walked past him. "Who's the pathetic one now?"

When Rebekah mentioned Ravyn's birthday I heistated and that gave Rebekah the perfect chance to insult me and walk past me. I knew ravyn had a birthday just not when and I wasn't going to let Rebekah win this. "Maybe she was going to have a party with people she actually likes and you just didn't get the invite." I smiled sarcasticaly as I caught up with her.

His hesitation was all I needed to know. "You wish Lockwood, she never celebrates it with with out me or my brother. Inviting you might actually make her act more herself." I looked at Tyler. "For once in my life i'm actually really worried about her. I know for a fact that she hasn't been hanging out with you like she used to. Besides you bitten her you need to fix what ever happened between the two of you. If you don't she's liable to flip her switch again, or go back to Damon." I growled Damon's name, I was still mad at him.

"What are you talking about? I spent time with Ravyn a few days ago." I told her. Ray wasn't acting herself? The only time I saw that happen is when she went on that murder spree. She seemed fine when I saw her.

"Yeah a few days ago. You two used to hang out all the time. Seriously she spent more time with you then she did with me." If Tyler couldn't see that something was up with her, then he's just stupid. "Maybe if you started thinking with the head on your shoulders instead of your other one. You'd notice that she's distancing herself." What do I have to do beat him a few times in the head with a two by four. Before he starts to realize somethings wrong. Suddenly a thought hit me. I stopped suddenly and looked at him. "You didn't do something stupid while she was gone did you?" I narrowed my eyes at him before I grabbed him by the arm and took him away from prying ears. "You didn't do something with Elizabeth and Ray found out about it, did you?" That was the only possible reason that I could think of for her to be distant.

Before I could even responded to Rebekah's generelized guy opinion she grabbed me by the arm and accused me of hurting Ravyn. I pulled my arm from her grasp. "First off, don't touch me like that. Secondly, its none of your business and third, yes I kissed Elizabeth when Ray was gone but she knows." I said and then walked away from her. I didn't like people getting in my business.

"She may know that you kissed Elizabeth but that doesn't mean she's ok with it." I quickly cought up with him. "You might want to figure something out, and soon." I turned to head in the opposite direction. I turned my head back to him. "I caught her yesterday with a dagger and white oak ash, and it wasn't meant for me." I continued to walk away from him. I didn't know what Ravyn was doing with it but she was playing with something that was lethal to her.

I groaned and turned back around. "How about you just cut the crap Rebekah and tell me what you know." I said. This round and round thing with Rebekah was annoying and I knew she was using this as the way to get me to help her.

Now it was my turn to groan. Do I have to spell everything out for him. "Jesus Christ Tyler, white oak ash can kill her." I hissed out, low enough for him to hear but no one else could. "You don't have to help me but help her. I'm not losing my best friend because you did something stupid." I stomped off towards the parking lot. I held back my tears, no one needed to see me cry, but so help me god. If I lose her, he's going to pay for it.

"Well no shit sherlock, I knew that." I said and went after her after she stomped away. Ray told me before that white oak could kill her but the way Rebekah wasn't just came about the whole situation was stupid. "Hey." I said and pulled her to look at me and noticed her tears. I'd never seen her cry before. "Look, what is it you want me to do then? I can't read your mind Rebekah so quite dancing around the subject." I said frimly but not as mean. I hated seeing girls cry whether being bitchy or not, it just made you feel uncomfortable cause you didn't know what to do.

I didn't even bother with the fact that he touched me. But I did turn my head away from him, he didn't need to see me cry if I couldn't hold back my tears. "I don't know but you need to do something." I said in a frustrated tone. I looked back at Tyler with a serious face, and swallowed around the lump in my throat. "I think she was trying to take her own life yesterday. I couldn't even tell Elijah because I don't know what he'd do. She's like our sister." I said defeated and let my head slump down.

"This is new, seeing as your always getting mad at your brothers its funny how you finally care about someone other than yourself." I said which may of sound rude but it was hard for me to believe that Ravyn would take her own life.

"Yes I get mad at my brothers, but we are family." I reframed from punching Tyler in the face. "I maybe cruel but I'm not heartless." I snapped at him. "If something happens it's on your conscious."

"I know you care about Ray in your own twisted way but how do I know this isn't something you cooked up with your brother? You'll have to excuse me for doubting you after all the times I've been used." I told her. Okay so now she made me worry about Ravyn but I had to keep my guard up to see if this was some kind of trap.

I made a little huffing noise when he said that. Why the hell would I do something like that when it involved Ravyn. "Which brother would you be talking about?" I only had three brothers left. He'd have to be thinking about Klaus because Elijah would never do something like that. Well besides threating Elena that one time. Kol maybe a psycho but he loves Ray like a sister. "Don't believe me it's your choice."

"You know I just don't get how you think I could trust you." I told her. Rebekah and her brothers were manipulative and liars. They believed that just because they were the Original family they were some kind of royalty.
