Bored of being bored (charlotte)

Alex sat on the bench near the field where the football players are practicing. It was broad daylight and it was already boring him to watch some teenage boys play American football. Sports barely interests him and so does most of the people surrounding him. He stretched his arms, accompanied by a yawn. I still have thiry minutes to kil, he thought.

I walked to the field where the football players were practicing and saw someone sitting on a bench nearby. I walked over to him "Hi" I said as a sat down. I didn't mind american football, it wasn't the most boring of sports but it certainly wasn't the most interesting.

As he continued to feel bored, Alex was thankful that boredom doesn't kill vampires or else, he'd been dead for a very long time ago. When a girl sat down near him, he flashed her a smile, knowing that he had to play the role of a good boy again. "Hello." Alex looked at the girl carefully and wondered if they had shared a class together. Perhaps they did but he can't recall if he just saw her around the school premises. "Have we met before? I'm Alex by the way."He said with his English accent as he extended his hand to make their introduction formal.

"I don't think so" I said when he asked if we had met before. I couldn't recall seeing him anywhere around town. "I'm Charlotte" I said shaking his hand when her offered it.

"Oh."Was all Alex could say after Charlotte said that she haven't seen him around. "Its a pleasure meeting you Charlotte. What year are you in?"He asked, wondering if she's also a senior student like him.

"I'm a sophomore" I said answering his question."What about you?" I asked. I wondered what age he is, he looked a few years older than me.

It made sense now why they haven't met in any class. "Unfortunately, I'm on my senior year."He sighed. With his experience, Alex preferred secondary school than college. "Did you grew up around here?"

"Oh" I said. "No, I actually just moved here a few weeks ago. How long have you been living here?" I asked.

"I just moved here a few months ago. I was forced to live here." He said. Alex had never seen much action around for centuries and he was hoping that Mystic Falls could provide the entertainment he needed to break free from boredom. "So where are you from before moving in here?

"Forced by who?" I asked curiously. "I'm from California." I said answering his question. "Where are you from" I asked.

"by circumstances."He answered briefly. It was the truth. He was staying at Mystic Falls for something special. "I'm from London."He said smiling at Charlotte.

"Ohh, okay" I said. "Cool, do you prefer here or London?" I asked.
