Looking around the forest (Elizabeth)

After settling for a week in Mystic Falls, Alexander already liked the small town. It may not be as fun like in the city but the people or rather vampires living in the town makes it interesting. If there weren't any vampires at all, Alex would just find the town boring and he probably won't last a week if he hadn't found anything to entertain him. He walked from his apartment up to the forest where he might found some snack and for him to be familiar around it. He wasn't that hungry, he just felt like killing someone. Alex still looked like a teenager and he didn't bother to change the clothes he wore at school just because he finds it comfortable. He continued to walk around with his hand hidden in his pocket while he haven't found anything in the forest besides a few animals and insect.

The only skin that shown was my cheecks to my chin. I hated this. Having to constantly cover up untill I was able to get my sun talisman with Charles tonight. I decided a walk was good for me. My hat covered my forehead, with my hood on to to make sure it didn't fly off. My sunglasses covered my eyes so I wasn't that sensitive. My black turtleneck was hidden under my pull over hoodie. I felt extremely hot but I didn't care. I loved the forest.

There wasn't any sounds in the forest that Alex consider out of the ordinary or any sounds that a human was probably making. After losing hope for someone to play with, Alex was about to leave the forest when he heard light footsteps. It wasn't a footstep that came from any animal, he was sure that it came from a human. Speeding to get near the person, Alex stopped when he saw a figure with a hat. He used a tree as his cover to the person as he try to get a good look from the person. Why can't I hear a heartbeat? he asked himself still looking at the person with a predator's eye. He sped behind the person a smile already on his face as he said"Hello."
