Lost Echoes [Elizabeth~Willow]

The clicks of my heels against the pavement echoed a lost harmony throughout the abandoned streets. The lights above were flickering as I slowly ventured down the utterly black street. Pulling my jacket farther around me, I silently cursed myself for not leaving Mystic Grill earlier.
The clicks of my heels were silenced when I halted. There was a soft breeze that was humming around me, but the funny thing is, there was not a single tree or blade of grass that was swaying with the wind.
"Hello?" I called out, shaking my head at my paranoia. I twirled my head around to locate the source of the breeze.

Running was how I got around anymore. With both of my means of transportation being pieces of junk. The Grill was great place to be around, to remind me of being human.

I passed by a girl at to high rate if speed. I stopped and pretended to fix my tennis shoe. My picture I was carrying had feel down beside her, which meant I had to talk to her now, unless she walked away, which I could sense she wasn't going to.

As soon as my eyes landed on the teenage girl, I gasped. My hand shot to cover my racing heart.
"You scared me," I breathed out slowly, "Are you alright?" From where I was standing, she seemed like she was hurt, but she may have been tying her shoe.

"I'm sorry about that miss. I was in a hurry." I stood back up and turned around. I placed on my most apologetic look I had as I walked to her. She seemed like a nice human but I swore to not kill tonight. "Could you move your foot please?" I pointed down to the picture on the ground.

OOC: Oh god, I am so sorry for taking way too long to reply.

My head immediately tilted to the side, wondering why she would want me to move my foot. Realization dawned upon me when I glanced down to the ground, seeing that I had stepped onto her picture.
"Oh, so sorry." I moved my foot to the right so she could grab the picture.
Her face, it seemed so familiar. "Do you have family here in Mystic Falls?"
It was an odd question, but I had this strange feeling that it was worth asking.

I smiled as I bent down and picked up the picture, the only picture I had of my mother. I was going to turn around and leave untill she asked me about my family. I thought about what to say. "No, it's ok. I live with my uncles. My fathers dead, but I don't know my mother." I took my right hand and placed it out. "Elizabeth Salvatore. Nice to meet you."

My ears perked up at her name, "Salvatore?" I chuckled, "You probably get asked this a lot, but by any chance, are you related to Damon Salvatore?" The name held an important meaning to me.
I shook my head, "Oh how terribly rude of me, I'm Willow Evergreen." And I firmly shook her hand.

That's all I heard. Are you related to Damon and Stefan Salvatore? Are you a descendant of the Founding Family, Salvatore? it didn't bother me any more. It was my heritage. "Yes I am. He's my uncle. And it's nice to meet you Willow."
