Mysterioso (Kara and Alexander)

The clicks of my stilettos against the marble flooring echoed throughout the room. I was feeling on top of the world that sunny day. My raven hair cascaded down my back, aqua blue eyes shimmering with the angel light touch of make-up.
"You look hot," I had complimented myself once I had prepared myself at my home, staring into the full-body mirror.
The eyes following my every move were the extra boost of self-esteem that I needed that day as I prowled over to the bar, taking a seat in perfect view of the entire Grill.
The enticing, ruby red lipstick was carefully applied to my finely-curved lips, adding the needed oomph to the all together look I was aiming for. Glancing over my shoulder after ordering a dirty martini, my eyes latched onto a particular figure walking into the Grill. Taking a sip from my martini, I instinctively licked my lips.

Walking inside the infamous grill once again to seek entertainment, I found a pretty girl alone. Maybe she was waiting for a friend or something but that wouldn't stop me from talking to her. She looks quite appetizing but then I found something unusual. No heartbeat. Such a waste, I can't devour something that was already dead. She may not be human but that won't stop me from having fun.I looked almost on her age and I fit as a teenager in the current generation. I approach her with a gentle smile on my face. "I can't help myself but notice that a beautiful girl like you is sitting alone. Would you care if I join you?"I let my British accent visible.

The figure ventured towards the bar, a smile playing on his lips. I lightly blushed at the small compliment before I took a swig of the martini to settle down. "Not at all." I gestured towards the seat next to me. Once he was settled, I introduced myself, "My name's Kara Salvatore." There would be no handshake, I'm just not that type of woman.

"Thank you."I gladly sat down next to her. I froze for what seemed like seconds but I regained my composure when I heard her name. "Salvatore? As in Damon and Stefan Salvatore?"I asked trying to be sure. Damon and Stefan weren't the only Salvatores lurking around as far as I know, Damon mentioned the three of them. I don't think I can have my fun if she's related to Damon. But who knows?

My eyebrows furrowed at the mention of Damon. With a sigh, I replied, "Unfortunately, yes."
With a shrug of my shoulders and a sip of my martini, I asked, "What is your name?"

Unfortunately, Alexander thought. He can't harm her or seduce her. He may flirt yes but he didn't want his friendship to be ruined. Or it just have to b a secret between them. "Alex Bertran, pleasure miss Elizabeth."He offered his hand to her.

My head tilted to the side, "Are you drunk or something?" I asked, not entirely sure why he called me Elizabeth. With a soft chuckle, I looked down to his hand. I was not the type of person to shake hands, just wasn't my thing.
"It's Kara." I said, with an added crooked smirk.

Alexander was shocked to what he just called Kara. Why would I call her Elizabeth?, he thought getting mad about himself. "I'm very sorry, Kara. You just remind me of someone I know a long time ago."He chuckled and put his hand on his pocket since Kara didn't take it. He wasn't lying when he told her that she reminded him of someone very important to him. "Do you attend in Mystic Falls high School?"He asked her.
