My Run in with a Vampire {Alexander || Nicole}

Nikki often took off on her own when she was younger. When her foster parents would freak out she just walk it off, literally. So, the fact that she was walking through the forest all by herself made perfect sense. It was midnight on the day of Thanksgiving and she was all alone. Her dad and his new wife wanted nothing to do with her, her brothers were in Chicago, and all of her friends were either busy or lived hours away. How could she not feel like an outcast? She wished that she could find someone to fill the gap in her heart where the werewolf that killed her parents ripped out. Just then she realized that she had wondered off somewhere and she was lost. "Great" she thought.

Feeding time was over, Alex just took enough blood from someone to satisfy his blood lust. He compelled that person to forget what has happened and let that person go freely. As he was on his way home, Alex heard a footsteps not far from where he was. Was it just a human or something else? He can't really yell so he decided to go and see for himself who was the source of the footsteps. Trying not to make a sound as he run towards the source of the noise, Alex found a human girl. It made him wonder what was the girl doing in the forest at night since it was atleast one of the dangerous places around Mystic falls. Curious, Alex showed himself to the girl. "Uh hello there."

"Uh hello there." Nikki heard a deep voice say from behind her. She turned around to see a man who looked a little older then she was, with black hair, staring right at her. She caught her breathe and then released it sharply. This man wasn't like everyone else he was alittle darker. And yet, she couldn't help but to be fascinated by him. Who was he? What was he? She had to find out. "Oh, hi. I'm Nicole, but most of my friends call me Nikki." She smiled and moved closer to offer her hand to shake.

Alex took Nikki's hand and instead of shaking it back, he planted a soft kiss on the back of her hand before letting it go. "Pleasure meeting you Nikki. My name is Alex." He looked at her and wondered if he could play a bit. It was her blue eyes that Alex noticed at first before he looked on her whole face. She was pretty and probably worth his time so why not try to charm her? "I didn't know anyone would be out in this forest this late." Nikki doesn't seem to be a supernatural being like him since she hadn't sensed him if she's ever one of them. Maybe tonight would be more fun.

Nikki was almost blushing as the man kissed the back of her hand. This was unusual for her because most guys didn't bother charming woman as they used too. Alexander was different, he was more "Old School" then others. Nikki looked into his face and watched the words slide out of his mouth like velvit. "I didn't know that anyone would be out in the forest this late" he said and then it appeared to her that it was late at night. " Oh, I just came out to clear my head. I've always done it so..." she paused for a minute," Why are you out here at midnight?" Nikki asked and she patiently waited for a response. Her hands going numb from all of the cold weather.

Alex wouldn't be surprised if Nikki wasn't expecting him to do that. It was rarely done by a man nowadays and he thought that proper manners were slowly fading away. It amused him how things had changed over the centuries. Hearing her response, Alex wondered what it was. "I see . Is it a guy or a friend problem?"He asked trying to figure out what was in Nikki's head.That was the first thing that came in his head and besides it was usual for teenagers to have that kind of problem. "I figured I needed some fresh air so here I was."He said with a shrug. "You're not expecting anyone are you?"He wanted to know whether she was waiting for someone else since it would change his plans if she does have someone with her. He just wanted to make sure than be sorry later.

Nikki laughed at his first question. " Neither. I haven't been here long enough to a guy or friends." she said chuckling."I just like walking at night." She placed her hands in her back pockets of her pants and looks up at the man. He was amazingly handsome and he was charming too. "You're not expecting anyone are you?" he asked her. She almost though about lying and saying yes but, she wasn't about to start lying now. "No. It's just me. Why do you ask?"
