She won't kill me...I hope

I sighed. I set down my glass and went over to the other side of my bed. I laid down next to Ravyn, even though she had her arm over her face I knew she could feel the pressure of the bed sagging down. I laid there looking up at the ceiling. "Why don't you let people get close to you?"

I heard Tyler sigh and I heard him put his glass down. I listened to him walk across the room. I felt the other side of the bed shift. I knew that he had laid down because of the way the mattress moved. He asked a question that I wasn't exactly sure on how to answer. I kept my arm still and let out a small groan. "Because they either die on me or walk out on me."

I looked at Ravyn. "What makes you think thats gonna happen now?" I asked. The wording sounded like there was something about to happen with us soon but I was going to leave that up to her. Plus she has a thing with Damon like I do with Lizzie, everything is to complicated right now, it doesn't mean I don't want to get closer to her though. Theres just something about Ray.

I sighed, I was shocked by Tyler's words. I left my arm over my face but I turned my head to the side. I just looked at him as he looked at me. I didn't know what to say but I forced words out of my mouth. "Sooner or later it always does." I stated as a clenched my jaw shut, I forced myself not to cry in front of him. I held onto my emotions it's what has kept me sane throughout my long life.

I moved so I was on my side looking at Ravyn. I didn't really know what to say because for one this was the most serious conversation we ever had, two she was showing alot of emotion and three it was hard for me to believe that someone would want to leave a girl like Ravyn. "I wouldn't do that to you." I said.

My eyes started to water but i rapidly blinked it away. "You hardly know anything about me, let alone my age." I choked out around the lump in my throat. I looked at him. "You say that now but it'll be bound to change."

"Then tell me. Tell me everything about you." I said. Yea it was true that I didn't really know anything about Ravyn but with the small things I did know about her shes still amazing to me. "You have to let me make that decision, but I can already tell you whatever you say to is not gonna change anything."

I laughed warmly. I turned on my side to face Tyler. "You're very confident. I guess we'll see when i'm done telling you everything." I looked at him, and smiled. "What would you like to know? My age, my human life, who turned me? Ask away!"

I shook my head. "No, I want you to tell me everything in your own way, its your story." I told her. I want Ravyn to know she can tell me anything and everything and I'll never think different of her.

I rolled my eyes playfully at Tyler. "Let's see, I've been 26 for the past 948 years soon to be 949 years. When I was human I had a husband and a daughter, I left them when I turned because I didn't want to hurt them." I paused not knowing if I should tell him that my husband killed himself when he found out what I was. I looked away from Tyler. "I was turned by Rebekah." I stated fearing his reaction.

"Damn....your 26?" I asked. Ravyn was way older then me and here I thought she was 20 at the max. I feel like a goldigger. "I didn't know you had a husband." I said. None of this bothered me like she thought it would because well its her past, I know her now.

I couldn't help but look at Tyler and laugh. "You're worried about me being 26 and not worried about me being almost a century old." I shook my head playfully. "Are you more intrigued that I had a husband and not about me having a child?" I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Yea! I makes me look like one of the guys who goes out with cougars just for their money and I am not that kind of guy." I said laughing with her. I liked that I got Ravyn to laugh but I stopped when she brought up the comment about her having a daughter. "I didn't want to put you in an umfortable position. I've seen my mom bawl tears sometimes when she talks about losing me and I've hurt her one time by doing it. I didn't want you to relive any pain." I told her. I don't have kids but seeing the way I hurt my mom when I left with Jules I saw that moms have a really special bond with there kids.

"Well I've never been called a cougar before... So I guess i'll take that as a compliment." I said laughing. I sighed. "My husband Erik killed himself when he found out I was a vampire, I couldn't go into my house and he wouldn't invite me in. I couldn't get to my daughter Selene who was four years old. I had to leave because the sun was about to come up. When I returned after the sun set, she was gone. She was given to another family and that family had left town during the day. I never found her, I have no idea what became of her." I said with sadness intertwining with my words. I let the tears fall from my eyes as I slipped back to the past. Shortly after my husbands death I fled with Rebekah and her family, mainly Klaus and Elijah. I changed my last name back to my maiden name, and I had kept it ever since. I gave up searching for my daughter when I knew that her human life would be over.

I looked at Ravyn as she told me her story and cried. I didn't know thats how she was turned and I felt really bad for making her relive through all that. I scooted closer to her and wiped away here tears with my thumb, gently. "You don't have to say anything else." I said softly.

I was jolted from my thoughts when I felt Tyler move closer to me. I looked at Tyler as he wiped away my tears. I closed my eyes and turned my face into his hand. "Thank you!" I whispered in a hushed tone, since my voice was hoarse. I kept my eyes closed trying to stop my tears. "Is there anything else you want to know?"

"Not if its going to cause you pain like this again." I said. After I wiped away Ravyn's tears and she closed her eyes to stop crying I kept gliding my finger down her cheek. I don't know what kept me doing it I just wanted to keep her from being sad.

I let out a slight chuckle. "It's only painful because I don't know what happened to Selene." I said with a small sigh. He glided his fingers down my face gently and I couldn't help but shiver. "It's funny that you'd be the first person in Mystic falls that I told anything about her." I laughed at the irony. "Even Damon doesn't know. Now is there anything else that you would like to know?" I said opening my eyes and looking at his face.

I smiled as Ravyn started getting back to her old self. I started thinking about what else I would want to know. "Why would Rebekah want to turn you?" I always did wonder that and how she even knew the Originals.

I smiled at Tyler, shyly. "We became friends and I didn't know she was a vampire at the time. One day while we were spending time together, I got hurt." I said still looking at Tyler. "She lost control at the smell of my blood. She almost drained me dry but she stopped when she realized it was me. She managed to give me her blood, I died a few minutes later. When I woke up I was unbelievably hungry." I said not knowing how much he wanted to hear.

"Wow." I said actually surprised, I always thought Rebekah had a hold on her hunger and impulses, it was even harder to believe that she could make friends considering her attitude. "Your story is alot better then mine, I was forced both times." Ray's was an accident, mine was planned.

I looked at Tyler, knowing that I had a confused expression on my face. "What do you mean both times?" I knew that Klaus had killed him to make him a hybrid. Did he also mean about being a werewolf before hand?

"Being turned into a werewolf and then a Hybrid, neither were my choosing." I told her. I forgot Ravyn doesn't know about how I was turned into werewolf. "I don't know if you know her or not but Katherine Pierce compelled this girl I knew to attack me and keep attacking me until I ended up killing her so it would tigger the curse. She planned it so she could hand me over to Klaus to be the werewolf sacrifice in the ritual he needed. Skip to a few months later, Klaus forced me to drink Elena's blood to turn into a Hybrid. The end." I said turning over to lay back on my back. I was upset I got thrown into Elena's mess but at least were all still alive.

I was shocked that Katherine was involved. If she hadn't interfered Tyler probably would have stayed human. I watched as he rolled back onto his back. "Why am I not surprised that Katerina Petrova was involved!" I hissed out while rolling onto my stomach. I clenched my jaw out of anger. Katerina was always destroying peoples lives. I lightly placed my hand on Tyler's arms. "I'm sorry for what you've had to endure, people so young should not be thrown into the supernatural world head first. Not when they have a whole life to live!" I spoke softly to him with understanding.

"I never really met her, maybe once but I thought she was Elena." I said still staring at the ceiling. I could feel Ray's hand on my arm and listend as she talk about how unfair it was to get thrown into a world like this. I laughed humoresly. "Its unfair because I had an entire life planned. My main goal was to get out of here and do what I wanted. I would still come visit my mom but I planned to go to college out of state on a football scholarship. I would have fun in college, going to all the parties, meeting some girls but still keep up with studies and if I was lucky, get picked in the NFL. If that didn't work, plan B was art school." I said thinking about what would never be. Funny how this started with Ravyn's story then moved on to me, she was the first person I actually shared all this with.
