Visiting a great.... whatever he is.

I didnt want to deaal with more drunken vampires for the day. I got dressed in white pants, a red tank top and a leather coat. The pants would never be something I wear for anything, They are my special pants. I dont know why but my mind decided on them. I got in my car after calling off work and let my mind take me to my destination... The Lockwood mansion.

I parked my car outside the stairs that led up to the doors. I walked up the white case and fixed my apperence before I knocked on the door three times. I hoped Tyler would be home. He was a great... whatever he was to me.

I was in the kitchen with sketchpad drawing. I've been getting into again and its just been little bits of everything. I did profiles, had some scenery, and just whatever things came to mind. Right now I was drawing, ironically, a wolf. It was like a profile, I drew out features and I had it looking up as if staring at the moon.

I just about to start adding in detail when I heard knocking. I put my pencil down and closed my drawing. I walked over to the door answering it surprised to see Elizabeth standing front of me looking really pretty. "Liz hey, what are you doing here?" I asked.

I was glad Tyler answered. It would have been awkward if Mayor Lockwood answered. I smiled at him."I thought I could visit you. I had nothing to do." I laughed to myself as I took a quick mental moment to see what I was doing. I called off work because of stress that my family caused. I left my house because of my crazy, drunken, fighting vampire uncles. But why did I come here?

"I thought we could...you know. Hang out. Be human. I mean you... You act human. I told you at the bonfire, I am always around if you need me."

I laughed. Elizabeth was rambling a bit but I thought it was kinda cute. "Well I'm drinking orange juice so I don't think I really need you right now, but hanging out, sure. Come in." I smiled opening the door wider so she could come in.

I sighed as he ignored my useless ramble of words. "Thanks. And I wasnt suggesting you were drinking, in case if you were wondering." I walked through the door he opened for me. I couldnt think of the last time i was here, if it was for Miss Mystic Falls or homecoming.

"I know you weren't I just said I was drinking orange juice so you knew everything was okay with me." I smiled. With all the drinking I've doing lately I wouldn't be surprised if she asked if I was drunk. "So what you want to do?" I asked her.

I looked at him then down to my heels. "I dont know. What about you?" I should have thought of something to do instead of trying to figure out who Tyler was to me. Is he a friend? Or something more? I dont know.

"I was just hanging out. I didn't have much to do today and nobody has called me for another crazy drinking game, so I'm just chillen." I told her. I didn't exactly want to tell her I was drawing, I didn't like showing people those sometimes.

"Thats cool." I didnt want to tell him how I felt. Confused and tourn between him and Jeremy Gilbert. I looked around the house. "You'r place is way brighter than mine. Its a beautful home." was I really distracting myself from us hanging out to talking about Accents and rugs. "I say we go to the Grill and out around Mystic falls. We wont care what people think about us hanging around. We can do whatever it is we want. Hell, go scream out loud in the Founders Park at the top of our lungs. Let's go and do something we will regret but never forget."

I took a breath. "So not how I wanted that to come out."

I laughed. Liz must have been really nervous to ramble out like that. "Look I know your nervous but you don't have to be and honestly I'm not really in the mood to go out on the town. Lets figure out what we can do here." I smiled. I didn't understand how she was so nervous, we hang out all the time.

"No Im not nevrous Ty, Im on edge. Nothing more than stupid 145 year old family drama. I dont mean to throw it on you. So, What do you want to do?" I asked him. I never really talked to anyone like this before. I thought I would tell Bonnie something like this, but it was Ty instead. I smiled at him while thinking these crazy thoughts.

"I understand. I mean I don't go through 145 year old family drama but I do deal with it." I said. My Dad may be gone but I still deal with my mom's mood swings. Its oddly comforting telling Eli this, I never really told anyone. "Since you don't want to be inside, I can show you the property." I told her. I know she may have seen it for the parties we had here but she hasn't seen all of it.

I grinned when he told me he understood where I was coming from. I was just a human teenage girl who was just starting to live my life and knowing now that it could all be over at any second scared me. Maybe thats why my attitude and actions were strange lately. "Sure. Sounds like fun." Tyler is a cool guy and I dont feel like he is more than just a human when I am around him. He feels like a regular guy. A really great....friend? Oh, what was he?

I grabbed my a light sweater. "Follow me." I smiled. The back door leads to the backyard, if you want to call it that, and its better then going all the way around the house. I opened the door for me and Liz and held it open for her. "Welcome the Lockwood property."

I took a step outside the door he opened. I never knew how big the courtyard/backyard was. Whenever i was here it was typically covered in tents, lights and a bunch of workers. "wow! It's really big. I would have never guessed." I looked out to the luscious grass. I took my heel off reviewing my tatoo and painted toenails. "I bet you can't catch me." I giggled before running off the pourch and out on the field of green.

I smiled as Liz was in awe of the property. Pretty much only Matt, Bonnie, Caroline and Elena knew how really big it was and people who saw how it looked for the very first time were always surprised. I laughed as Elizabeth took of running, say I couldn't catch her. "I'm a Hyrbid of course I can!" I said and took off after her using normal speed.

I lahed as I saw he gave chase. I threw my shoes down by the stairs as I continued to run on the lawn. I heard his comment. "And I'm just a mere human. That's what makes it fun!" I couldn't help but laugh as I started to run backwards. Not just any friend did this. But what was Tyler to me? I still can't place a word for it.

I chased after Elizabeth using my normal speed, I mean being a football player I was fast but this was kinda fun even if I looked a bit ridiclous. With Elizabeth though I didn't really care about how I looked, I just felt different. Lizzie was pretty fast but I decided to have more fun. I ran up to her and grabbed her from behind, running with her in my arms. She couldn't stop laughing.

I laughed even more when he grabbed me and ran with me in his arms. "You better be careful. Your mother will see us and think I was a vampire." I joked with him. I held onto him tight. Even though he was running at a humans pace it was still fast. Football was more then speed, so was cheer leading.

"Well good thing my mom is busy with Council business all day then huh?" I said smiling and still running with her. I slowed down and stopped setting her down on her feet, I still kept my hand on her waist and she was looking right at me. I stared back at her watching her catch her breath.

I placed my hand on the crok of his neck as he placed me down on my feet. After catching my breath I responded. "That is good then. I guess she wouldn't mind if I did this, too" I couldn't believe I was going to do this. I leaned up a little and kissed his skin on the corner of his lips. His skin was hot under my short soft kiss.

I stood motionless as Eli gave me a short soft kiss on the corner of my mouth, she was close to my lips but not close enough. When she started pulling away a bit I looked at her, was she falling for me or something? I mean I was kinda close with her because she saw me as alot more then just a Hybrid and she was alot of fun to hang out with. But what about Caroline? a voice in my head asked. I pulled away from Liz. Caroline hasn't been talking to me for weeks but I still did care for her. Man I am such a jerk for trying to flirt with Ray and hurting Elizabeth.

"I'm sorry. God, I forgot about Care. She's going to kill me. I'm so sorry Tyler I didn't mean to.." I looked to the lake area that was on the property before I started to walk away. My thoughts took me to Jeremy. I was tourn between Jer and Ty. I saw Ty as a human and not a hybrid. I didn't like how Jer was placed in the dark on everything. I knew I just screwed up my friendship with Tyler, I just knew. Maybe I should have gone to work.

"Eli stop." I said grabbing her before she could get any further. I didn't want to hurt her but I didn't want her to go either. "Lets just calm down a second and talk about this." I told her. I really did care about Elizabeth and I liked that she saw past the Hybrid thing but I couldn't just hurt her the way I was. We had to figure out where this was going.

I didn't take another step. I looked down to the ground. "What do you mean talk? I kissed you almost on the lips because I let my emotions and thoughts get the best of me. And I'm sorry." yet another ramble. I must have looked stupid. I took my stare off the ground and placed it on him.
