Home Sweet Home

Jeremy walked through the front door of his house with his backpack around one shoulder and a duffle bag in one hand. He had been off in Colorado for a while, and had really enjoyed it. However, the people he was staying with had a family emergency of their own and he had to return home. He was sad to have to leave, but happy to be home. He had missed his family and friends.

As he stepped in the house he realized how much he had missed it here, and realized this was his home. While Colorado was nice, he really had missed Elena, Alaric, Bonnie and even Damon! He set down his bags at the bottom of the stairs, "Hello, is anyone home?" He called out.

Elena came home from school after a stressful day from school. Sometimes she just wanted to take stress by it's little neck and pounds it's face on her living room floor. In the living room, on a walk of shame into the kitchen, she started to think of how boring she could be just because of the simple thought of stress. It could build her up til she explodes or tear her down, TIL SHE EXPLODES. She didn't need stress of course. Statistics and shit say stress causes gray hair. Elena's friggen 18. She doesn't need a little stress let alone an ugly as hell boatload. It's probably what caused Hitler, The DC Snipers and Osama to go insane. Thankfully, the all left us. Sadly, stress hasn't and probably never will.

Elena made her way into the kitchen and began boiling a pot of water, as she was ready to have some tea. She had a headache, probably caused from stress, and instead of taking pills and shit like regular people, Elena takes tea. Tea's the natural remedy to taking care of a headache. As is calming yourself. Once, Elena closed her eyes and invisioned complete and utter nothingness and the headache she had that particular day, just magically ran away. Another reason why she drink tea, is it makes her remember. her mom. Her mother used to strive and strive like shit about how they had that in common. Her mother called them both mutual sweet toothes. Of course like 3 days later, she said she barely likes sugar in her tea. All Elena could say was, 'How the eff are you a sweettooth and don't like alot of sugar in your coffee? Seriously...think bout it girl...really think about THAT.

Elena's water was ready and she poured it into a mug after she had made up her mind about taking a nap just to get rid of the headache. As she finished sturring and what not, Elena begun to drink the tea, leaning on her kitchen counter. She was relaxed and at ease until she heard some fidgeting with the door knob on the front door. Elena went to investigate but all she saw was a tall figure, that wasn't Alaric, Stefan or Damon. Or Tyler or Matt. Or Even Klaus for that matter. She ran back into the kitchen and grabbed a knife from the holder Katherine had used to cut off John's fingers. She went to the hallway again and was ready to go. When the door opened she begun to charge at the figure. "AAAAAAAAAAAGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH--eremy? Jeremy? Is that you? But how? Col..Denv....Nevermind..." She threw the knife down and ran to hug him.

Jeremy stood there with his eyes wide open. He hadn't expected that kind of a reaction, and wondered why Elena had a knife. Nevertheless, he embraced his sister, happy to be home and happy to see her.
"Hey, I meant to surprise you, not scare you. " He said still shocked at the knife. "Is everything alright?" He was concerned, was she expecting someone coming, or was she just paranoid?
