I saw the vampire taking a step closer to Victoria. "Vic, do not look around right now. There is a vampire who is inching his way towards you. Do you have any weapons on you right now?"

"Are you kidding me? Of course I don't have weapons with me. I'm not a spy, where should I put them?" My breathing gets faster as I look on the wine glass and focus on it. My instincts want to panic, but I know that this would mean harm for everyone in this place. "Okay, do you have anything with you?"

I nodded as I then showed that I had a small gun in my jacket that was ready to shot the bastard if he got close. "He is eyeing you like he knows you from somewhere. Maybe he knows something about your family's death." I grabbed one of her hands and squeezed it a bit right then.

I swallowed. "You know that you can't shoot him inside the restaurant." Our date was going great so far but this vampire seemed to destroy everything. I got mad. "Whenever I want to do something like a date, things happen that disturb me. I hate it!"

I frowned a bit as I then kissed her hand. "Hear me out, I promise that one day you and I will have a normal date. No vampires. No weapons. Nothing. Just us. If you give me the chance." Then, the vampire was besides us. "Little Fields, it is nice to see you again." I glared at the vampire as he was talking.

I looked to the vampire. I didn't know him. I thought. But I didn't really care though. "Well it is nice to know that you will not live after this conversation." I was getting really angry. I looked to James and kissed his cheek. "We should go outside, what do you think?"

I nodded as I then guided Victoria out of the place, leaving some money on the table for the wine and the food her and I were not going to enjoy. "Lets go Vic." I knew the vampire was following us as his presence was creeping behind us.

I took my jacket and followed James out of the restaurant. My heart was beating really fast now and I took his hand and walk faster. "You know that he's following us, right?" I say and press his hand.

I nodded as I then whispered, "Yes. Please run to the car and look in the glove department. There is a gun in there that you can use. I will distract this man."

I nod and run to his ferrari. I hope that James will not get hurt. I take out the gun and turn around, run back to him, where I see James beating up the vampire. I really looks bloody.

I was bellow the vampire as a glare was on my face. I knew I was going to have a few bruises and cuts. I was about to grab my gun until the vampire said, "I have information about Vic's family being killed." I froze as my eyes widen.

I take a step back and feel the tears falling down. "James", I say and swallow. "Let him say what he wants to say. I want to know what he is going to say."

I stop what I am doing and shove the vampire off of me. The blood dripped form my face as I then walked over to be besides Vic. I glared at the vampire as I still held the gun in my hand in case he did something to piss either Vic or I off. "I am here to tell you that the vampire who killed your family is coming to Mystic Falls soon." The vampire licked his lips as he looked at Vic's veins. "May I say Vic, good thing he kept you alive. you are one gorgeous girl and look really tasty." I put the gun up at the vampire. "Say that again fucker."

"Kill him. Please. I don't want to hear any of this anymore." I breath out and close my eyes. I don't want to think about the vampire that killed my father. It makes me feel.. as if something inside of me died as well.

I wrapped my arms around her as I then pulled her close to my chest as I then shot the bastard with a vervain bullet through the heart at that moment. "Die bastard."

I close my eyes and lean my head against James' chest. I hear the vampire scream angrily and bite on my lip. It all reminds me of that day... and I don't want that. "Let us go somewhere else Jay", I say and look in his face.

I looked down into her eyes as I then nod. "Where to?" I asked as I then stroke her cheek, but stopped as I then realized that I had some left over blood from myself on my hands.

I see the blood and swallow. I don't know what I want. And even though I like James I want to be alone. "James, could you drive me back home? I think it's the best for me to go home and just do nothing. All this is so overwhelming. But I want to meet you again. Just right now..." I shake my head and look at him.

I nod as I then put her into my car and got into my side. "Buckle up." I said as I then drove off in a fast speed towards her house. My hands gripped tightly onto the steering wheel as I smelt of blood.

I look on my hands and out of the windows. James is driving really fast. "I'm sorry. I should have known that something like that happens. It always happens to me." I shake my head and look to him. "How about you? You said your family was killed by a vampire as well."

I then slow down. Vic needed me and I was going to be here for her. I may not be a prince charming, but I was a gentleman at heart. "I am sorry about that bastard back there. And from times to times yes."

I nod and close my eyes for a bit. We arrive at my house and together we walk to the front door. "Thanks for saving me today. I guess I was so shocked that I would be probably dead by now." I hug him. "See you sometime" I say and turn around to open the door and enter.

I needed to do this. "Hey Vic, come here really quick"

I turn around and look at James. "What is it?"
