Dinner for two

I look at myself in front of the mirror and breathe in. I'm nervous. I don't want to look too overdressed, because I fear that I would be not the Victoria that I am. But I really like the dress and decide that it is fine.



I look on my watch and take my clutch. It's almost seven.

James was in a nice suit as he was taking Victoria to the nicest place he knew in Mystic Falls. a smile was on his lips as he pulled up to her house in his nice furari. He then walked out of his car and walked to her front door, holding some red roses in his hands.

I heard the door bell ring and ran to the door after I picked up my black jacket. I opened the door and looked directly at James, who looked absolutely... "Hi" I said and smiled at him and saw the roses in his hands. "Why don't you come in first?"

I smiled as I then walked into the house and handed her then roses. "These are for you gorgeous." I kissed her cheek as I then controlled myself to not kiss her lips.

"Thank you" I say and take the roses and go to the kitchen. "Do you want anything to drink before we go" I ask politely and put water in one of my vases. They are so dark red that they almost don't look real. I smell them and close my eyes.

I smiled as I stood there and watched her from a far. Oh how gorgeous she was. Oh how gorgeous Victoria was. "I am fine, thank you though gorgeous."

"Well then, we can go if you want. I'm ready to leave" I say and take my jacket once again. I lock the door behind me and follow him to the car.

As we arrived at my sports car, I opened the door and looked at her with my bright blue eyes. a smile was on my lips as I then winked a bit at that moment. "After you my lady." I said in a charming manor as I then did a quick look around.

We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes later and entered it. I was still really nervous and walked slowly to the table for two. Okay I felt like an idiot, especially because James seemed so relaxed.

I held onto her hand as we were walking. I could sense a vampire in the building, but I was not going to show it on my face. I lokoed down at Victoria and smiled some more.

I smiled back when James took my hand and looked in his face. I knew something was wrong. "Is a vampire here?" I asked and looked around. Would I never have time just for myself without any supernatural around?

A sigh escaped from my lips. "Yes, but do not worry. If we just act natural, nothing will happen. Lets go to our table and enjoy our glorious date."

I nod and walk slowly to our table, but I can't help but look around. I sit down and the waiter comes the second we sit. Wow, that is pretty fast, I think and smile when he is giving us the cards. James is ordering red wine for us and I look on the menu. i'm not sure what I really want.

I looked at her as I then smiled a bit at that moment. She was gorgeous. "Order whatever you want to eat Victoria. I am paying the bill here."

I nod and look back on the card. "I guess I'll have a salad, I'm not really hungry." I look around for the waiter but I can't see him anywhere. "Did you decide yet?"

I nodded. "A salad as well actually." I smiled a bit, but then frowned as she was looking around. Did I make her uncomfortable? I didn't want to make her uncomfortable. I wanted her to feel relaxed around me. I then waved the waiter over at that moment.

I liked James, but he was... too perfect. It almost seemed too much for me. He was always making compliments and was always just perfect. It made me feel a little uncomfortable. "I would like the shrimp salad without the vinaigrette please", I said politely and smiled a little.

I ordered my food as I then leaned back in my chair. So I guess she hated me. Great. I tried being a gentleman to her, but I guess I should not try. Maybe I should be the hunter that I was. "Vic, what is wrong? Do I make you uncomfortable or something? If so, tell me and I shall stop doing i-." My sentence stopped short as I then spotted a vampire in the distance. He was smirking at Vic. this was not good.

"No, everything's fine. I I just.." I shake my head and take a sip of my wine. I don't know how to explain everything. I didn't want to hurt his feelings. Maybe I was just so nervous that I tried to run away.
