Secrets (Myra Anderson)

Myra followed him for a couple hours until she finally stopped. She lay on the ground unconscious as she transformed back into a human. A naked one at that. She lay there until someone would come to give her clothes.

As Alex continued to run for his life, he suddenly noticed that the werewolf was no longer following him. He stopped on his track and see if the werewolf was already gone. Nothing seemed out of ordinary, just the noise of the animals around the forest. A heartbeat other than his was a sign that there's another person/being in the forest and so he decided to track it. It wasn't a surprise that it was Myra on her human form. A smile crept on his face seeing how innocent she seemed than before. He quickly left the forest and returned with a blanket and clothes for the girl. It wasn't just like him to help people but it would seem rude to just leave her alone. He wrapped her with a blanket and put the clothes beside her.

Myra slowly woke up to find the blanket on her and the clothes nearby. She then saw the vampire standing there waiting for her to get changed. She quickly turned around and got changed using the blanket as a shield. She remembered the last time it was like this. At least the moon didn't get up every night full.

Alex chuckled as she saw him. As she turned away to change, Alex did what a gentleman would do, he turned his back to her with a smile. "You know, that blanket isn't much of a help. It's not like I haven't seen you without anything at all."He teased the shewolf. Suddenly his eyes shifted to his legs and felt that his wound had finally healed though there's blood smeared on it. He was glad that after being chased by a werewolf for hours, he was still in one piece and kicking. It must be the most stupid thing he'd ever done.

"Clear your mind please..." She quickly made sure she was decent and came over. "I am sorry about the scratch. But I assume it healed fast as your vampire blood helps with that." She smiled and looked at where she thought the scratch was. "At least the transformation is only once a month."

"Well, I think it's a good exercise, being chased by a werewolf."He faced her and sent her a wink. If he was in his right mind, he wouldn't have stayed and run as far as he could so that he would be safe. Honestly, he liked the chased. It has been years since he felt something life threatening and it felt good despite the fact the scratch that the werewolf gave him. "So I better start exercising to get faster."He commented. Myra doesn't meant to hurt him and he knew that. Saying sorry to him wasn't really necessary. "Does any part of your body ache or anything?"

"Ache? After perhaps the 15th time of transformation the body is not used to shifting bones... but I will be fine." Now she wondered where she put her cd player and everything else since they left the area where she had chained herself. She sighed and looked around her for a little bit.

Alex didn't thought of bringing some medicine for the pain since he thought that Myra was used to it. He somehow pitied her because of her condition being a werewolf.There sure are things that Alex didn't know about werewolves. "What is it?"Alex asked, wondering what she's looking for.

"Nothing, just looking.. nothing wrong with trying to be cautious in these woods." She smiled and leaned against a tree. The day had gone better than she had thought. She met Alex, had a good transformation somewhat and it was only on that day. She was super excited that she just had to wait for the next month.

"Oh I think that trying to be cautious part is over besides I don't think there's a single soul near us." With his heightened senses, it was still them who just occupied the forest except for some animals. He doubted that any animal could do them harm even if Myra was back with her human form. "So it got me thinking. Since you're a wolf where's the rest of the pack?"He sat down on the ground as he waited for an answer. It has been a little strange for some werewolf who had been transforming for quite awhile on their own. He had always thought that once your a wolf, another wolf would come and recruit the lone wolf.

"I don't know. I was never in one really. I heard there might be some over in mystic falls so I came here." She did feel alone without her own kind but it wasn't unusual for her to be alone since her family died. She was somewhat anti-social sometimes but this time she wasn't. "Though, I also tend to avoid packs just in case that vamp hybrid decides to turn the group and me with it.."

Being a member of a pack must be nice whenever someone would transform into a wolf. At least the pain of being alone was already out. As much as Alex didn't want to admit, he was lonely despite being surrounded by people. He kind of felt envious with the werewolves having their pack where they treat one another like siblings. "There's a bid bad hybrid on the loose around here namely, Klaus. So being too much friendly isn't recommended if you want to stay as a werewolf." Alex didn't know who to trust so far. Sure he got some trust with his friends but he wasn't sure if he put the right amount of trust to them. "Don't you like to be a hybrid? You won't age like vampires, I think."

"There is just so many things that go along with that though. I believe he needs the blood of a doppelganger and I am not sure how much he would have of that. I also don't want to be killed...I rather be what I was born to be instead of a creation by a hybrid. And yes, I know of Klaus. I have no loyalties to him even if he is part werewolf." She knew she should be careful in a place like this.

"Oh yes, Elena's her name, the infamous doppelganger. Klaus is actually my friend's brother though we haven't met formally. He's blonde and English, so be careful with anyone who fits the description." In his knowledge, Damon's in love with her and so was Stefan. It was like the girl before whom this Elena resembled. Its like history repeating itself. It perplexed him that Myra didn't want to be a hybrid. Was it just being loyal to her being a werewolf? Alex wasn't sure but he was satisfied with being a vampire and had no desire to be a hybrid.

"Thanks for the warning, I will take heed to it. I have only just heard of all Klaus's failures in the hybrid project, I want nothing to do with it even though there are some that work." Though she wondered if being a hybrid meant that she did not have to transform or anything. She did not want to take that chance.

"No problem. I just don't like the idea of the hybrid population being loyal to him."Their population was a threat especially if they would be under Klaus's command. He also didn't like Damon to suffer seeing his beloved Elena being used as a blood donor for creating hybrids. "That's nice to hear."

She smiled and wondered if they should walk somewhere else. She enjoyed his company and did not really want to leave but it was starting to get daylight and she did not want to be caught out in the woods during daylight. She smiled.

"Are you going anywhere else? I think the sun would be out soon." Alex knew that what Myra had planned for the night didn't exactly go as she planned. His appearance was a surprise nor was he expecting to see her. Unlike her, Alex didn't really have any plan aside from feeding himself which he accomplished and he could stay wherever he want since he got a necklace with lapus lazili.

"I don't know." She sighed and leaned against the tree again. She was very tired, maybe she would go someplace for the day or something to rest and revover from her transformation.

"I'll be around here and I'll head for the place where I'm staying at soon."He told her. He craved for some human food and the girl who was posing as his mother was a very good cook. "Well, want do you want to do?"Maybe Alex could help with where she's going later.

"Maybe I will go to the grill again. I am not sure." She nodded and was ready to go back if she could. She needed to find her stuff first so that she could go.

Alex sighed when she mentioned the grill. It's not like he had anything against the grill, he just doesn't feel like going to the grill. "So is there anything I can help you with before you go wherever it is you want to go?" Alex wonder how his relationship with Myra go. She doesn't seem to be the evil type but he wouldn't trust her that easily, its not like there had been an exemption to his number one rule.
