Love That Roof. (Alex)

Val peeked around the corner, before casually walking to the back stairwell. She didn't see her brother, and hoped he hadn't been caught. That would suck since this whole thing was kind of her idea. Climbing up a few stairs, she sat down rocking back and forth as she waited for her bro. Now that she though about it, she was 100% glad that she had Chase as a brother. She doubted anybody else would put up with her and go along with things like this. Taking her phone out, she checked the time and wasn't surprised at how late it was. time really didn't mean anything to her anymore. As far as Val was concerned, there were no days, everyday just kind of blended together for her. Sliding down to the botom stair, she checked to see if he was in sight. Obviously not.

She decided to go on with her plan without him and flew up to the roof, climbing and stuff. There was just these bars that you had to climb up, they were so weird. She finally got to the top and wrapped her arms around her knees as she sat opposite of the entrance to the roof.

Alex literally had nothing better to do than go to school. After centuries of being alone in the wild, it was now that he found himself here surrounded by people that he was bored. With a sigh he shoved his hands into his pockets and began to wonder aimlessly. He was less adapted to the human world than the others despite his years but that didn't mean he wasn't trying so the first sign of a human and he was off to make peace.

"Hi." He smiled standing behind the girl he'd spotted on the roof like it was a perfectly normal thing to be doing. It had taken him seconds to climb the wall behind him but she didn't need to know that. Jordan had always taught him secrecy was one of their main rules.

"Excuse me?" He asked looking at her with slight confusion. What was it with these people and their weird sayings? Bitch ass? Was that their new way of greeting? Or some new insult they had come up with? "Was that an insult?" He asked just to clarify, he preferred to know if he was being called or not.

"Apology accepted. Do you always sit up here at such a late hour? Seems like such unusual behaviour for someone your age." He questioned.

"So it's normal to call your brother a..." He thought back to what she had called him and repeated her words but they sounded foreign on his tongue. "Bitch ass?" He asked.

"I... so i am!" He smirked after thinking about it for a second. He often forgotten about how old he was. To them he was just an average 16 year old but to others he was over 600 years old. "That depends on what your definition of unusual is. Your kind are definitely weirder."
