The Downtown Bar

I put my hand on his shoulders and a serious look came upon my face. "I'm not pretending." I assured him. I pulled my hands off his shoulders. "I'm pretending? Damon. You may be sick of trying, but you're never going to get over her. Do you really want to lose another girl with this face to Stefan? Again...?" I said, trying to snap him out of this "I'm too good" he was in. "And you know she loves you too. She may deny it, but that's the same way I used to look at you."

"Oh right i forgot this was just one big game for you. Let pitch Damon against Stefan and see who wins." He imitated her waving his hands around. "Well Stefan win cause im no longer playing. Im sick and tired of your games Katherine." He said stepping around her to get to the door.

He raised an eyebrow. "Was that just a confession that you used to love me?" Both in slight amusement and seriousness. He had loved her once, he still had feelings for her and then she practically ripped his heart out when she only desired his saint of a brother.

"Was it?" I asked, smiling. Tonight it was Damon playing the games, and I was sick of pleading. Damon seemed to actually be over Elena. Then again, I acted like I wasn't over him so I guess this time he's got me fooled. I rolled my eyes, annoyed of all the crap tonight. I grabbed my drink and chugged the rest. "Damon. Tonight, it's you playing the games..." I informed him. I began to walk out then turned back, "When Klaus torches you like you've never been felt up before, you can't say I never warned you." I cryptically told him.

He spread his arms wide. "I hate games, i will never again be a part of one." He said moving to sit back down to enjoy his drink in peace.

"Yeah? Try not to cry too much at my funeral... Oh wait i'm already dead!" He called after her, throwing his glass against the wall. "What?!" He said to the nearest men that had turned to look at him in his outburst. He would keep an eye on Elena.. for Stefan, not for himself. A life for a life, Stefan saved him and he would in return save Elena whilst he was unable.

Once all this was over he was going on a trip somewhere away from everyone so he could be himself again. He was bored of playing the good guy, it was boring.

I used my speed to run up to him so we were just centimenters away from eachother's faces. "Don't worry, I didn't the first time and I certainly won't now." I told him, sort of lying. I mean Damon is Damon and I'll kind of miss his idiotic sarcastic humor.
