Just Another Night at Work

Matt laughed, "No it's all good. As long as I act like I'm doing something, everything is fine." He nodded, grinning as she told him what to drink, "Alright, be right back." he said as he walked off to the bar. He poured her a coke in a normal glass, but added some whiskey to it after he made sure no one was around.
He walked back to her smiling and laid the glass on the table. "Like I said, you can't go wrong with Coke."

Jennifer laughed with Matt. "Well then, keep on acting, I'd say!" She was him grinning as she told him what to drink, and she waited for him to come back. Not that Jennifer was that thirsty, she just enjoyed his presence. When Matt came back with her drink, she smiled and responded: "You're totally right!". She took a sip and looked a bit suprised. "This is good! You've been creative, am I right?" Then Jennifer leaned back, looked at him and said: "So Matt, tell me something about yourself. Who are you?" She looked at him with questionable eyes.

He waited for her to take a drink, and smiled when she said she liked it. "Glad you like it, and kind of, but not really. " He said shrugging. "Um, well I'm just a normal guy trying to make it through my last year of school. What about you?" He wanted to put the emphasis on normal, since that was what he was still trying to be despite of everyone around him.
