Brief History
Born in Falkenberg, Sweden, Julianne was raised by a Viking family from the age of two after being abandoned by her single mother. Her adoptive family included the leader of a band of Vikings.
At the age of 17, the band had made their way to Greenland, where they were met by many groups of their kind. Unbeknownst to them, witches were abroad. When she was struck by the small pox, the local witch was forced to cast a spell upon her. In the process, as revenge, the witch told the Vikings that she was beyond savable, but there was another option- vampirism. The Vikings hesitantly agreed, and Julianne was turned into vampire.
She spent the past 500 years traveling across the world, until she grew tired and moved to the United States. While there, she moved to Mystic Falls where she currently resides in a large, dark, menacing home on a hill.

Brief History
Born in Dublin, Ireland to Sir Edmund Maverick and Lady Emilia Maverick, he was a strong child, walking at seven months. He was trained since the time he could walk by the finest knights in the kingdom. Spending nearly 24 years in training, his parents decided he was fit for battle.
He spent three months in a savage battle, in which he was severely wounded, being left behind by his army. After five hours of laying in the field, a female vampire, Alessandra, stumbled upon him. Not being able to see him suffer, she decided to turn him.
He had resided in Ireland for two hundred years until he was forced out by townspeople. He currently resides in Mystic Falls with his current friend, Julianne Finch.
