The weather outside was fairly nice, but in my eyes, it was dark and gloomy. The booth I was currently sitting in was in the far back, away from the main crowd of drunks and common patrons. The poor fork within my hands was being bent mercilessly as I watched each pulse point of the passerby. 'So hungry.' I licked my lips instinctively.
But what I didn't account for that day was spotting a familiar face. My face lit up. There was a possible chance that I was not going to be lonely anymore.
