Okay so I know this is an old ass arguement but its still pretty important. I just wanted to know what you guys thought of the Immigration law in Arizona. If you don't know what it is its a law that says immigrants are to carry their alien registration documents at all times and if police are suspicious they have a can question somebody. That basically means if I walk down the street I can be pulled over for questioning.
The thing about this is its kinda racial profiling. I'm not full mexican but since I look it I could be pulled over for questioning and have to have proof of my citizenship, thats whats wrong here. Just because I look mexican doesn't mean I'm illegal and its wrong to pull someone over cause of there skin color and you suspect them of being illegal. Its pretty much that if anyone looks mexican there illegal and its an unfair thing because there are illlegal groups of people who aren't mexican but because the mexican border is so close to us .
I know it doesn't apply to only mexicans but thats were its taken more seriously because again the border is just right there and no one pays attention to much asians, also (not trying to be racist here) but if an illegal person from like Ireland or something with white skin walked down the street no one would think their illegal because they look like an american. If I walked down the street or someone with tan skin they would get pulled over.
I just think its wrong to do soemthing like that. I knows there alot more to it then just that but this is my biggest issue on the situation.
